Description:

This swap was originally hosted by Shannon but I messed up the dates and didn't get to sign up so I am hosting my own. Thank you to Shannon who let me copy her wording for the swap. I appreciate it because it makes it so much easier.

I love Christmas music but I get tired of listening to the same ones year after year. I often don't buy new ones just because I think it's such a waste to spend $ on a CD that I will most likely listen to only in November/December.

Anyway, for this swap, you will have two (2) partners. You will be creating/burning/ripping/etc. a music CD with at least 14 Christmas songs and sending it to your two partners. It is sender's choice, so you have creative control as to what Christmas songs you choose to include. Let's shoot for variety, people, so make sure that all the songs are by different artists/groups/performers. It is totally up to you if you want to send the same mix CD to each of your partners or if you want to create two different mixes for your two partners--just as long as each of your partner gets one disc, I'm happy.

This swap is open to newbies with filled-out profiles--we were all newbies once, and they have to earn their ratings and hearts somewhere, right? If you aren't a newbie, then please make sure that you have a well-filled-out profile and a rating of no less than 4.9. I will be checking out your profiles and ratings and I really don't want to bump anyone off the swap, but as coordinator, it's my duty to protect the integrity of the swap, so I will bump anyone that gives me an "off" feeling. Swaplifters/Flakers--please don't bother. If you're not going to play by the rules, don't play at all, OK?

FOR SENDERS: After partners are assigned, make sure to send your CD with a track/artist listing. I don't think a cd case/cover is required as long as you package the cd appropriately. Package your CD to ensure that it doesn't break in transit--use a CD mailer, bubble wrap or a padded envelope. It is a total bummer to receive a snapped disc! To try for a heart, send a little something extra (check your partner's profile) along with the CD.

FOR RECEIVERS: Please try to leave a rating for your swap partner as soon as you can. Receiving a CD with at least 14 Christmas songs on it warrants a 5-rating regardless of whether or not you like the songs included on the CD. Give your partner a heart if they sent you more than 14 songs or if they sent a little surprise to you.

I hope you all have fun with this! Please message me with any comments, questions etc.

I will angel this but am hoping that I won't have to! If you don't receive something from your partner or don't hear from your partner in a reasonable amount of time, then let me know and I'll see what I can do...
