Description:

Hello Aussies! Since we're a bit left out of international tea swaps, I thought I'd start one for us. Because we're special.

For this swap, you will send your partner at least three tea bags (or loose tea enough for a cuppa). One bag should be the brand or type you usually drink, while the other 2 should be new to you - always wanted to try chai, oolong or something else? Here's your excuse.

Now here's the letter writing bit - once you get your lovely teas home, make a cuppa and write about it as you drink it. How did you make it? Milk? Lemon? How does it taste? What do you like about your usual tea? Are the new teas as tasty as you'd hoped? Why or why not?

If you'd like to chuck the kids into the back yard and send the hubby out for something hard to find and enjoy a nice quiet tea break for yourself, I'm sure no one would object ;)

Once you've got it all written, pop at least 1 bag of each kind in with your letter and post it. Loose teas should - of course - be sent in a small ziploc bag or something to stop them spreading through the Auspost system. If you can, it might be an idea to pop all your teabags in separate bags too, just to stop them flavouring each other.

Any ALLERGIES should be listed below in the comments section. Before you go tea shopping please check to see if your partner has entered any allergies. Likes and dislikes don't enter into this one, so apart from making sure you don't have an allergic reaction to anything, it's mostly senders choice.

This swap is open to Aussies only, with a 4+ rating as well as newbies with a well filled profile.

I want to join. Tea is the best thing in the world ... Now I get to go spend hours in the tea aisle trying to decide exactly what I want to try.

oh Im so happy to be able to do a tea swap! It makes me so sad that we can't receive tea from international swappers (insert uber-sad face here!)

I love tea :D and I love letters - together it's like heaven!!!

The only things I can't have is Cinnamon and St Johns Wort.

No allergies here. Looking forward to hearing from a random tea-lover.

I am allergic to any nuts, but I doubt they are in any part of tea making :P

I have wheat and dairy allergies, so I would prefer teas that can be drunk without milk :) I don't think there is any wheat in tea! lol

I've got all the tea ready in a parcel ^_^
