Description:

This swap will be a mini version of 1000 Journals.

Each will be assigned ONE partner. Once partners are assigned, I will start on a journal with some art pertaining to the theme "PEACE." I will send it to who ever my partner is. Once they get the journal they will fill up a few pages on the theme of peace. They will in return send it to their parter who will in turn do some art in regards to the theme of peace...and we will continue down the line doing that.

Minimum requirement of this project is one page to get a rating of 5. Anything extra done should get a star. Be creative. Use ANY media. Be sure to label your art work so we know who did what.

Due to the nature of this project, absolutely NO no sends. I am only looking for people with a rating of 4.5 or higher, which is pretty reasonable. If your profile is lower, please e-mail me first. I do realize there are unfair ratings.

Not required, but it would be nice to have your friends and other interested people you know put some art in the journal, too.

Last day for sign up is in two weeks. I gave until Halloween to complete, but if necessary, we will extend the dead line.

Any questions or problems please contact me!

More than likely this will be an international swap. If you CAN'T commit or CAN'T afford the postage do not sign up. The min. requirement of art is one page, so no one should have the journal longer than they should, especially since the length of time it will take to get mailed from one country, state, or region to another. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE.

Hopefully, on its arrival to me or completion, I 'd like to donate it to a charity, person, or cause that works to obtain world peace.

Where does the finished journal end up? Just curious!

How big will the pages of the journal be? I'd like to know so I can maybe begin looking for collage materials or start creating a tip-in....

Is this menat to be a fairly 'flat' book or can it be more 'chunky'? (in terms of embellishments etc.?)
