Description:

Hello everyone!

I know many of us have tons of craft books that are no longer in use. Maybe you've made everything in the book (so crafty!) or realized it was beyond your ability (hey, you tried!). No matter the reason, its always fun to get new books and new ideas.

This swap is for new or used craft books. Requirements for each book are:

  • Senders choice, but you can make a request in the comment section below. Still not guaranteed that is what you will receive though.

  • MUST have at least 15 crafts in the book.

  • Book must have a retail value of $10-$15. This may not be what you bought the book for, but what the original value of the book is. If it is less, send two or more to equal this price range.

Sorry, but no newbies on this one. You must have a minimum of a 4.90 rating to join this swap.

I am keeping this swap USA only because books are heavy! If you'd like to host an international one, be my guest.

You can save money by mailing your book "Media Mail" (special postage through the USPS for books, CDs, video tapes, DVDs, etc) though it will take it a little longer to get to your partner.

I believe with media mail, you can't have anything else in the package (i.e. extra goodies or a card). Is Parcel Post still around? That might be a cheaper way to go as well.

With media mail you can include a letter or card, they arent picky about that. As for goodies, only small flat things will work if you put them in an envie and tuck them into the cover.

I.E: a hardcover 1lb 8oz book = $2.77 media mail

I hope this helps :)

So, does the requirement of 15 crafts mean 15 different projects (that are, say, all knitting) or 15 different TYPES of crafts?

playkonstantine 07/ 5/2010 #

@IndefatigableL : I mean at least 15 PROJECTS :) thanks

Yay, OK. :)
