Description:

I'm hoping to start a new Role-Playing Swap every month. Many of them will be letter writing, but as I branch out into being more crafty myself, I'm going to try to get some other swaps like ATCs into the mix.

Every time I'm around any of my gamer friends, particularly new gamers that I'm meeting for the first time, gaming stories ALWAYS get told. Gamers just love to share their favorite moments.

So for the first RPG-based swap, it's going to be a letter writing swap. Everyone will have 3 partners to send your favorite gaming story to. You can send the same story to each partner or three different stories. The choice is up to you! The letters can be either hand-written or typed, but must be snail mailed rather than e-mailed.

This swap is open to anyone with a rating of 4.5 or higher and no more than 1 no send in the last month. Newbies with full profiles are welcome. If you don't fit the above but feel you that there were extenuating circumstances, PM me and I'll decide. I'll be banning after the swap, so if you see someone that you think is questionable, please still give the swap a try. As for angeling, I'll be angeling any no sends for this swap, with the help of anyone that wants to angel as well!

after swapping our stories, will our swapping partner continue to the story or should we end it with a single letter?

GoodVibrations 08/22/2007 #

and i dont know much about role playing. can somebody tell me what to do in this swap with details?

Chaz 08/22/2007 #

I am assuming we are talking about paper and pencil based games like Dungeons and Dragons.

PisceanMama 08/22/2007 #

Chaz has it right. We're talking about either table-top games or their online versions (like play-by-e-mail or play-by-posts games). This isn't going to be a story writing challenge so much as a chance for Gamers to share the stories of their past games, letting their partner know a funny or gripping situation that their characters got into.

oh, if only i could share my hubbies stories successfully instead!! but they would be lacking something without him telling them in person. he tends to act it out. like my own private theatre!! lol.

I know what you mean, dreamerkins. My husband's stories are so much better than mine! I've been trying to get him to join Swap-Bot so he can share some of them, but no luck so far!

Hey, if you have a particular severe phobia about creepie-crawlies, would you make sure it's in your profile? Some of my best stories come from a campaign fighting Lolth, so there are a LOT of 8-legged freaks in mine!

None here, as long as it's reading about it. Dealing with them is another matter entirely! :D

I confess that I really love iGaming entertainment and now I am already advanced in this direction. I usually choose online casinos for myself and recently I discovered information about casinos and cryptocurrency. Have you ever tried playing online gambling to earn cryptocurrency? This is a very profitable solution and I will soon try to play in a Swedish casino to earn cryptocurrency.
