Description:

Its that time of year when Snowflakes inspire Zentangles with sharp edges, lots of lines and angles. Because I have a 3 inch punch to make a perfect circle, this Snow flake- ish Zentangle will be approximately 3 to 3.5 inch in size. Use permanent inks and a sturdy card stock or similar paper. Adding a little color and sparkle is encouraged. Add a ribbon or other hanger.

One ornament for one swap partner. The usual Swap-bot rules apply. Flaking will not be tolerated. If you have a problem let me and your partner know. If your flaked on let me know.

any questions or suggestions contact me.

what are the rules about making a zentangle?

tesscalhoun 11/27/2010 #

Sorry for the delay in response, between snow, power outages and a day out of town I'm behind again.

I intended to give you lots of "play" in the instructions, Interpret them as you feel appropriate for the swap. To many instructions can stifle creativity. My intent was to give you as much free choice in how to do this swap as I could and still give a good idea of what you should do. Run with the concept of snowflake construction as it may be interpreted by a zentangle. Round or square about. 3 to 3.5 inches in size. Laminating is ok but not required. any stiff card stock, cold press smooth watercolor paper, or glue a smooth ink paper to something more sturdy. Well made and the equivalent of something you would like to receive in return is good.

As far as rules for making a zentangle the best explanation is at Zentangle.com
