I don't know about you, but I find myself writing about the moon and stars all the time. Therefore, we are going to be writing a poem describing the moon.

So, for this swap...

  • You will share one (1) original poem with two (2) partners. It must be an original poem that is written by YOU!

  • The poem may be handwritten or typed, but please send it in a way that you would be happy to receive said poem.

  • The poem will be sender's choice, but MUST describe the moon. Try not to use clichés, but rather interesting metaphors, etc. There is no format for how the poem should be written. Your interpretation of describing the moon is completely up to you, the poet.

  • You may send the same poem to both partners or you may write and send two different poems to your (2) two partners, but if you do that, both poems MUST describe the moon.

  • This is a group swap, so if you are not a member, please consider joining! We'd love to have you!!!

Half-Moon Poetics Group

  • This swap is for serious poets/writers only, but there is no right or wrong way to write a poem. That's the beauty of poetry :)

  • Be sure to include your user name and swap name somewhere with your poem so that you can be rated. PLEASE rate your partners in return! OR ELSE! :D

  • If there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

  • These types of swaps are created in hopes of challenging you as a writer, but also, I do hope you find them fun! SO... Have Fun :)

Sorry about being late on this one. I sent it a couple days late and couldn't get on the internet for another few days. I sent my partners a heads up though!
