In the picture: "How to Make Bubble Paper" & "Mini Zetti Zine of Art Quotes" by pengrafyx, "Implements of Art Creation" by beenebag, and "Minizine of Craftiness: Notebook" by Annan.

This is the first of what will be an ongoing series of minizines devoted to the process of art making. You may do as many or as few swaps in this series as you wish. You may create your minizine using one of the suggested art making topics listed below or choose your own, as long as it relates to art making. Each time you join a swap in the series, choose another topic so that you both create and receive a wide range of minizines about art making.

Your minizine should be made using a single sheet of letter-size paper (8.5x11 or A4) folded to 8 pages. You may do more pages if you wish, and you can stitch or assemble your zine in other ways if you wish, but this is the minimum requirement.

For a quick video on how to make a minizine, look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5oD8EyZHOU

Your minizine can be in colour or black-and-white, use pictures or text, or anything you need to cover your topic. Newbies are welcome, we all had to start somewhere, but please do fill in your profiles. I will be checking before assigning partners. No unexplained 1’s or 3’s. I will angel if I need to, but flakers will be excluded from future ArtMakers Minizine Swaps.

Please do your best work. Through this swap series I’d like us to create and receive a wide variety of interesting minizines about art making. I believe everyone has something of value to share about their art making experience!
