Writing Buddy Swap With A Plot Twist

Well Hello There!

I am very excited to be hosting my first swap within the group and I thought that a public swap I hosted at the end of last summer ( Writing Buddy Pen Pal Swap ) was a great jumping point for me. But I tried to make it a little bit more about the writing this time around

This is a swap to find a new pen friend or two (or maybe reconnect with an old one) who has a love for writing just like you do. It doesn't matter what you write, just that you do. Writers create something from nothing and that's an awesome thing to share with someone who "get's it"

So here's the deal

You'll write a short letter introducing yourself, length is up to you. And be as creative as you want with this - maybe describe yourself in person, maybe from the eyes of your goldfish, or maybe just creatively be you talking about you.

Next explore with your partner your writing and a little about it. Again there is no length but cover try and cover the W5H of your writing - What you write, Where you write, When you write, Who you write (for and/or about), Why you write and How you write (shorthand, computer, typewriter)

Then include some of you writing for your partner to enjoy. Perhaps it's a poem, or a limerick. Maybe it's a chapter from that novel you're working on or a part of an old work you just adore.

And finally a little gift for your writing loving pal - maybe some coffee or tea to enjoy, a pen and a notebook, some inspirational quotes. Look at their profile and find out what they might enjoy, spending limit is no more the $10 as it's just a small surprise to enjoy.
