Description:

IMPORTANT:

I've created a new group to facilitate this swap. It will contain information regarding this swap. Each person will have a forum board to document their swap progress. It will also help us keep track of where every book is at.

Please be sure to join the Round Robin Cookbook Swap by clicking on this link and becoming a member. This is a must if you want to participate in this swap!

Basically we'll all start off with a blank A4 or A5 book.

REQUIREMENTS:

Your book need to be sturdy and contain at least 100 pages (50 sheets of paper). Perhaps more if you are using A5 size.

You might want to create some or divisions in your book to keep the recipes organised (but this is entirely up to you).

I'm thinking: -Starters -Mains -Sauces -Desserts -Cakes and Tarts -Biscuits

At no point in this swap may any book be more than 3cm thick - so no chunky pages please!

You must have access to a digital camera and be willing to post progress pictures on flickr.

SPECIFICS:

  • Everyone will get to keep the notebook for about 3 weeks.

  • You'll add some of your favourite tried and tested recipes (between 8-10 recipes) and then send it on to the next participant. You can add any type of recipes i.e. if you want to add 5 mains and 5 desserts and no starters that's fine! The crux is to add at least 8 recipes. They can be written, photocopied, printed or a combination BUT please try to incorporate at least 2 hand-written recipes.

  • Once the book has visited all the participants it will be sent back to their owner. This means you'll get your original book back!

  • You will also need to add at least one cooking related decorated page per book. You may execute this in any way you fancy (no chunky pages please!)

  • Please add your name to each recipe. Just in case anyone has questions or would like to compliment you on a great recipe! ;-)

  • This swap is a long term commitment! PLEASE don't sign-up if you're not up to it! Also bear in mind that you are going to be contributing to approximately 5-8 cookbooks!

The number of partners will be adjusted according to how many people sign-up for this swap. The send-out date for each leg of the swap will continually be updated

THIS SWAP IS THE ONE THAT IS THE REAL ONE AND WHICH WILL BE RATED

If you have not signed up for this one you are not in the CookBook swap.

due to some bi-atch in the USA not receiving my ATC in under 3 weeks, she gave me a one - so unfortunately I have been kicked off the Round Robin! Pity, after I spent 100 bucks on my recipe book!

I do not think that is fair at all, can't we make a plan please so Earthworm can join?

katara 04/19/2011 #

I lowered the rating requirement so Earthworm is in!
