advent calendar surprise

What is an advent calendar? It's a calendar that counts down 25 days in december from dec 1st til christmas. Often times for each day there will be a little compartment with chocolates in it, so you get a goody for every day til christmas. In this swap we're going to play with that idea!

Step 1: buy an advent calendar, one with the little chocolates hidden behind each compartment.

Step 2: open each compartment and take out the chocolates, you can keep these for yourself or if you don't want them put them in a ziplock baggie and send them to your partner.

Step 3: find a maximum of 20 small goodies to put in 20 of the little compartments to replace where the chocolates were.

Step 4: Find a MINIMUM of 5 bigger gifts and wrap them, doesn't have to be well, just so they're covered. Then put numbers on them and hide corresponding numbers in the remaining 5 compartments in your advent calendar

for example for dec 1 you might put an eraser in the compartment, for dec 2 you might have a couple of hair ties in there, for dec 3 you might have a slip of paper in it that says "open bigger gift #1." Then your partner would find the gift out of the five that you wrapped and labeled 'one' and get to open it on that day.
