Description:

Hello everyone!

As this was a very cool swap the first time, i decided to host it once more and see how it goes. I made one small change, now each participant will have 2 partners. And this time we will also add a postcard (or any other small surprise) for your partner.

Have you ever wondered how it would be if you could speak many languages? Ok, this swap won´t make you start speaking all different kinds of tongues, but here is a chance for you to see how it could be!

Each participant will have 2 partners to send a letter in their original language. I speak portuguese, so my letter would be written in portuguese.

Add to it a sheet explaning a few things about your letter, comparing the words that are similar to your language and english, sentences you think anyone could figure out even by not understanding what it says exactly. Give your partner tips of how to understand your letter! You may want to add a full translation of what you´ve written if you think it is nicer.

If your original language is english, as we all speak english, if you know any other languages, feel free to write in it. If you don´t and speak only english, that´s ok too, surprise us, research about other languages, make your letter have many sentences in many languages. Or maybe try to google translate a letter in the person´s language!!! (There is an idea for a future swap!!! ) So, recap:

•2 partners

•Write each a letter in your own language (it can be typed)

•Add tips, marks, etc to make it easy for your partner to figure out what it means.

•if you only speak english, try to write a letter with google translator in your partner´s language! That´d be very funny!

•Have loooots of fun!

Add a postcard of your country or city or any other small surprise you would like to send your partners

If you have any questions or comments, fire ahead!
