This webpage and video shows you how to accurately cut fabric with a rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat:

http://www.daystyledesigns.com/cuttingfabric.htm

Each partner you are assigned should be sent 10 charm squares (5"). Each person will be assigned 5 partners. You will be sending 50 charm squares in total.

Fabric should be clean and free of stains or blemishes. Please give your charms a courtesy press with a dry iron before mailing and measure to make sure they are the correct size.

Colors will be senders choice. Make it scrappy and send out lots of variety to each partner. If you wish to contact your partners and find out their color preferences that is up to you.

I love that there is so much lead time for this swap. Sounds like loads of fun.

Perfect to continue our pinwheel quilts! Good idea @quiltedmagnolia

Drat. I was going to stop swapping, but this may be too hard to pass up. However, if the same 10-12 people swap with this swap, they may be getting the same fabrics that I used for the pinwheels, because I have lots of extra 5 inch blocks cut from that swap. I wouldn't want to send the same fabrics to the people I've already sent these fabrics to. If the swap numbers go up, I may join - waiting on the fence for now.

I hope to put my Accuquilt Go to good use for this swap! :)

Looking forward to using my Accuquilt too on this. I was late sending my last swap (my first ever....bad Lori), but vow to do better on this one :)

Quick question....are we supposed to send charms from the same fabric to each person or do we send a variety of different charm squares to each person we're swapping with?

I would send a variety to each person. The idea behind charms is that you can create a quilt out of so many different fabrics and most people collect them to make a big scrap quilt anyway.
