Description:

Wanna get a really thick letter? A long, detailed intro letter from someone? Well, this is the swap for you! This swap requires you to send a handwritten letter on full size (notebook size) paper... of at least 6 pages... that means 6 fronts, or 3 fronts+3 backs.
To help you out, other than the basics of your life, please also talk about some serious emotion/ how you feel about something, something REAL! Put aside your "intro voice" for part of the letter, and just be "you" :)

No newbies, must have at least 10 swaps of type 2/3 (because its such a long letter!) Rating of at least 4.8, and no recent 1's or 3's (or ANY UNEXPLAINED 1's). USA only, sorry (if you want to do an international version, please feel free!)

By joining the swap, you are making an (unrated) commitment to respond to the letter... please join only if you are looking to make a new pen pal... if after a couple of letters one/both decide they don't click, that's different, but don't join if you have no intention of even responding before even reading the letter!!! ;)

Question: Why mist it be hand written? Some of us have terrible hand writing---my poor partner would not be able to read my letter...I do all my writing, notes, etc on the computer in Word...

i have all this really nice stationary but its an inch or two smaller than notebook paper can i still use it?

FancyLady... yes, you could use the nice stationery, but you should make sure you make up for it and it ends up being the same length it would be with notebook paper.

And turtlelady- I realize that some people type letters, but some prefer receiving handwritten letters... feel free to create a typed version of the swap :)

Well, I recently realized that I have not only a lot of penpals to respond to, but a lot of type 2 swaps. I realized the only way I could catch up was to type out letters- something I hate. I sent a PM to anyone with a type 2 swap that I felt I needed to type out, for speed purposes, asking if it was okay, and that its not my norm. Everyone was okay with it. If you feel as though you can't hand write something, for future advice, I'd say either stick to swaps that don't need to be handwritten, OR, send your partner a PM making sure it's okay :) While I prefer handwritten, I don't mind typed in certain situations, such as poor hand writing :)
