*6/9/11: Please note: I've been away from SwapBot for a while. I'm still a reliable swapper- I just had to take a break from swapping for some other things going on in my life. :)

I'm married, have two kids, and a tank full of fish.

I love to do paper crafts (stamping, card making) and I really want to try beading-- see below. I'm also an avid reader- again, see below for details. :)

I like old-looking things (vintage/antique) and I like to decorate with what my family calls "beat up old junk"... I call it "primitive country". I love hunting in thrift stores, garage sales, and antique stores for treasures. If it's handmade or has a story behind it, all the better!

12-5-10: My latest interest is vintage holy cards. I love the old artwork. I'm also collecting current ones for my kids. If you have holy cards to trade, let me know and maybe we can do a 1-1 swap!

CHRISTIAN : Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Lincoln Brewster and COUNTRY: Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Toby Keith. I also like VeggieTales and other things I can play in the car for my kids.

Rubber stamping, card making, scrapbooking. I used to be a monthly scrapbooking/card swapper on another forum, but with two small kids my time is limited, so I've had to give that up for now.

I am also just starting beading, so any advice/ supplies would be great!

• Holy Cards. You know those little baseball card-sized images of saints that your grandmother had tucked into her Bible? Yeah, those things. :)
• Christian notecards/ greeting cards/ stickers. I send these to several people.
• Fine point gel ink pens. I'm picky about my pens- the finer the point, the better!
• Paper crafting supplies- rubber stamps, inks, patterned paper, etc.
• Beading supplies- beads, findings, beginner books.
• Nice bookmarks- handmade or other. I read a lot and usually have several books going at once.
• Primitive country bunnies: images or home decor items. I especially love tea-dyed ones that are vintage looking. :)
• Recipes- preferably the sender's tried-and-true favorites for Mexican foods, crock pot, etc.
• Fun socks- but I prefer the ones that are neutral based so that I might actually be able to match them to something I own and wear them. (For example: I never wore a pair of very bright yellow and pink flowered socks someone gave me... but I love my black Christmas socks with various patterns.)
• Something that is a favorite of the sender & a note explaining that... such as the sender's favorite candy or candle.

• Nothing with a cinnamon scent, please.
• No FB's/Slam Books.
• Nothing to do with horoscopes.
• I'm not into fairies, skulls, or gothic stuff.
• Nothing Wiccan.
• No Kawaii stuff... nothing cutesy.
• No scented lotions-- I enjoy them, but my skin does not. :(

*COLORS: I love fall colors- purple, dark red, hunter green, and brown. I'm also a big fan of things that combine turquoise and brown.

*SNACK FOODS: microwave buttered popcorn, plain M&M's, dark chocolate-covered pretzels

*SCENTS: I love lavender. Otherwise, clean, fresh scents are my favorites. I also like some light floral scents.

*I COLLECT: Cat's Meow pieces, holy cards, baskets
