About Me

My name is Annet. I live in the Netherlands with my husband, 2 daughters and 2 cats. On my blog I show you what I did so far and what I’m doing now.

UPDATE 16-11-2009:
I'm going to take a short break from swapping until the end of this year. I visit swapbot once in a while in this period to see what's going on.

Favorite Crafts

I make (crazy) quilts, ATC's, Dotee dolls and notions. I also like embroidery, needlework, knitting and crocheting. Now and again I make some postcards for birthdays or other special occasions.

Things I like

I like paintings especially from Paul Klee, Escher and Vincent van Gogh. I also like Japanese and Egyptian things. The sunflower is my favourite flower and cats are my favourite animals.

  • fabric in all colours or 5" charm squares 100% cotton
  • embroidery threads
  • floss ring
  • buttons
  • beads and sequins
  • small lace
  • little charms or pendants
  • yarn left-over, even small pieces as long as they are over 5 inch long, but NO WOOL PLEASE (I’m allergic)

Favorite Books

I like to read different kinds of books. My favorite are the Harry Potter books. I also read books from Dutch authors like Saskia Noort and English authors like Maeve Binchy and Jennifer Chiaverini. I like books with an historical background as Roots.

One-on-one swaps

I like private swaps. I always have some ATC's for swaps on my Flickr-page.
