About Me

I live in Alaska and am so thankful for my arts and crafts during the long winter months, they keep me sane!

I am very involved in artistic journals right now an have organized 5 different traveling journal circles. I also host a weekly workshop at the university I work at for the students to create their own art journals during the school year. I love seeing what other people come up with. There is so much talent out there and there are so many viewpoints.

I am very outdoor oriented. I hike, fish, garden, camp & work (during the summer months, anyway) outdoors. And, as strange as it may sound, I even like shoveling snow off my driveway during the winter!

I enjoy anything to do with nature, with a special interest in insects.

I have been called a tree-hugger more than once :-)

I firmly believe in recycling!

I love all the colors, patterns, and designs that were big in the 60's. Peace signs, flowers, VW vans all painted up, old denim, tie dye, patches, beads......you name it.

This was a great out of hand postcard!! The heart looks like it was detached from the card at some point (looks like glue didnt hold) but I can easily fix it. It is so great, totally makes up for the flaker. Thanks for being a great hostess

I didn't realise it was your first heart, but it was well deserved. I haven't been here long myself either. I enjoyed the swap and have decided to make an album for all the ATC's I receive, and another for the postcards. There is so much talent out there. It will be good to look over in years to come.
