UPDATE 3/4/13: Yes I'm late on some swaps and somethings have slipped my mind. I have been dealing with some heart issues and trying to manage a lot at my house. I was placed into the hospital last week, so I am late on some swaps and ratings. I am going to get ALL things sent out that I said I would. I committed to these things and I'm not going to break my commitment. Didn't plan on having to deal with heart issues when I signed up for these swaps and then being placed into the hospital for it. Sorry that my health got in the way of me sending my swaps on time and things slipping my mind.

UPDATE 11/22/2012-I was placed into the hospital on Tueday (11/20) so I am behind on two swaps. But I do plan on sending them out tomorrow or this evening for one of them. I had every intention of getting them out on time and not late.

Update 9/10/12: Daniel just went to live with his mom, so if you decided to send for one of the kids send for either Justin, Jaydon, or Traci. They love when I get stuff in the mail and usually love helping me open it all up.

Update 8/30/2012: I've had some unexpected guest come up because of the hurricane so I will not be able to get out to the post office until Tuesday. Sorry that your swaps from me will be late. Also, I am having some health problems right now that are causing me to have a hard time doing things.

HI I'm no longer in my 20's yeah! I'm a step mom to six wonderful children(4 boys and 2 girls, more on them later, but we only have 4 that live with us). I have Type 1 Diabetes and I have a hard time controlling it. I hate when people judge me because I have a hard time with it. I try not letting it consume my life but it really does at times.

I live in Northern Louisiana but I grew up in Southwest Louisiana. I love living here but sometimes I wish I lived somewhere else. I love to travel and wish I had the money to travel more. My favorite place that I have visisted so far has been the Grand Canyon. It was so pretty there. I wanna go back one day. Even though at times I wanna live somewhere else, Louisiana will always be home for me.

I am a Christian. I love JESUS! If it wasn't for Him, I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm not where I would like to be in my walk with Christ because of some past hurts but I know that He is the healer of all things. I am slowly growing more each day in my walk with Him. I'm not perfect nor do I claim to be perfect. I fail everyday but I now that I am forgiven and that He loves me. I'm not giving up at all.

Since joining Swap-Bot, I have fallen in love with pen palling. I have a couple right now and I want more. I would like some that are Christians' to help me stay strong in my walk with Christ. However, I do not want to be judge by you if you are further along in your walk with Christ than I am. I'm looking for someone to help me to grow and be stronger. So if you would like to be my pen pal, then lets.

I love Christian Music! MercyMe and Casting Crowns are my favorite. Matthew West is also really good, especially his new song "Forgiveness."

I also like country music. I listen to lots of different bands. But Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and George Strait are some of my favorites.

I'm making me a lyric journal of all my favorite songs. I'm having such a good time doing this. I can't wait till I'm done with it which will probably be never. Cause I'm always thinking of new songs to add to it.

I love to read! I will read just about anything, if given the chance. My favorite author is Karen Kingsbury. I love reading her books. It's hard to say what my favorite book is because I've read a lot of books.

I love reading the Bible. I haven't read it all the way through but I am working on that.

I also like reading things by Joyce Meyer. I think she is an amazing author. I haven't read much of her stuff yet but I plan on it. I wanna read some stuff by Beth Moore because I heard she was reallly good. Haven't gotten around to it yet. Max Lucado is a pretty amazing author as well. I have several of his books, just haven't read them either.

I love to scrapbook! I love to take pictures! I love to collect postcards! I love the color blue and green! I love lighthouses! I love butterflies! I love Diet Dr. Pepper! I love to write letters! I love to collect stickers! I have a weird obession with ink pens and bags (purses or totes). I love colored ink pens better than just plain black and blue ones.

I would love recipes that are easy to make. I have a hard time cooking since I'm not use to it. I worked full time up until the end of March. So if you wanna share your favorite recipes with me, I would greatly appreciate it. If your going to send me a recipe, please don't put it on a recipe card. I am making my own cookbook that will be put into a binder and I would rather the recipe be on a regular sheet of paper. Thanks in advance for understanding!

I love to bake. My favorite things to bake are cupcakes. The kids love to eat cupcakes. I'd love some recipes for cupcakes. I'll bake a cake every now and then. So you can send me recipes for cakes as well. I'd love some cupcake paper cups or toppings.

FYI: I don't get all that crazy into my scrapbooks like some people do. I am very simple with my books because I think for me it's so much better. I don't have a very creative mind at times. What I do like to embellish them with is stickers. I love looking at scrapbook stickers when I go to Wal-Mart or Michael's.

Stickers: No Kawaii stickers please. Here are some that I like: butterflies, doggy stickers (no cats), family inspired stickers, sports stickers, cooking stickers, ABC stickers, lighthouses (I can never find any), any that represent girls or boys (I've seen Princess stickers before but none really for a little boy), fishing stickers, camping stickers, music, and flowers (would love cala lilly since they are my favorite flower).

I'm new to this whole idea of a family of my own. I'm not married yet, but I live with my boyfriend and his kids. I am enjoying this new adventure that God has given me. If you have any tips or hints on how to do somethings, I would love to hear them.

Daniel: likes to play guitar and play outside. He loves "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books. He actually likes to read. His favorite color is blue. He also likes to play jokes on people. He is into Pokemon cards a little bit. He is in the 4th grade.

Justin: loves Spongebob and the color yellow. He is autsitic so it's a little more hands on with him. He loves to listen to music and I can hear him sing the songs sometimes when he knows it. He is the 1st grade.

Jaydon: is all boy. He loves all action heros, but especially Spiderman. Go figure his favorite color would be red. He loves to jump on the trampoline. He is going into Pre-K. Not sure what I'm going to do with him not being at home.

Traci: the only girl in the bunch. She is the little princess, so she is into princess stuff right now. But she loves to play with her brothers as well. She will be a tough one growing up!

My boyfriend (Danny): Loves Christian music. Likes to listen to Andrew Womack and likes Joyce Meyer's. He like's Reese Peanut Butter cups. He works all the time but is an amazing dad to the kids. He likes UFC fighting. His favorite thing to eat is my spaghetti (not sure why). He spoils me as much as he can! Loves to play the guitar! LOVES TO GO FISHING! Will fish for anything!

As if I'm not crazy enough, we just got two puppies to add to the mix. They are a mix breed between: terrier/yorkie-poo. We were only going to get one, but I fell in love with one and Danny fell in love with the other. So we got a boy and a girl; and we named them Prince and Princess. They are so adorable.

Ok! So I've become addicted to collecting postcards. I love getting them in the mail. I'm not really picky about them at all. I'm trying to collect one from every state. If you would like to swap with me for one from Louisiana I would greatly do so. I have some states but don't mind if I get them again. (To win a heart with me, include one in a swap that I'm your partner for) Just make sure if your sending me a postcard from your state, that it has your state on it. I have decided that I really prefer map cards after getting several of them. Oh and if the postcard has a lighthouse on it, you just scored a heart with me. Unless the swap calls for it, I would rather them be sent in an envelope unwritten on.

I can't seem to find anything but Louisiana postcards where I live at. I would love to have some different ones to send out but I can't find any. So all postcards that I send out are pretty much from Louisiana. I do have some from different places that I am sending out but it's very few. I'm trying to get some from all over the places that my friends will send me some from.

FYI: If you don't like postcards but are willing to send me some from your state, I'd be happy to swap with you something else. Just let me know and we can work something out. Also, if we are going to set up a private swap for postcards, I'd prefer them to be sent in an envelope so I can use them later.
