hello there fellow swappers! if you ever have any questions about a swap i'm hosting, or you're partnered with me and need anything, please don't hesitate to contact me. i check my email several times a day unless i'm out of town, and i think it's in everyone's best swapping interest to be able to resolve any issues that come up. i would also like to say that i spend a lot of time making the items for my swaps, and i expect the same of my partners. if i receive something that appears to be poorly done or rushed, i will let you know and give you a chance to resend before i rate you. just be advised that it's not personal, i only want to receive swaps of the same quality that i am sending.

I read a LOT, especially Erik Thor, Stephen King, Terry Goodkin, Robert Jordan, James Herriott, anything well written and entertaining.

I tend to prefer comedies, silly stuff like Super Troopers, Kevin Smith movies, Waiting, Talladega Nights (pretty much anything Will Ferrell is funny..), all things Tim Burton (except planet of the apes.......) or Johnny Depp (ESPECIALLY PIRATES!!) pretty much anything except horror movies that involve a lot of torture etc.

I currently spend MOST of my crafting time needle felting. second to that, scrapbooking and papercrafting in general including ATC, card making, and occasional paper sculptures. Some of my favorite swaps are 32 count matchboxes. The rest of my time is split between sewing, altered books, found object art, and jewelry-making.

I live in upstate new york (rochester) with my super awesome husband Erik, our three cats Boots, Mina, and Cosmo, and four zebra finches-Jupiter and Willow, and their sons Orpheus and Mephisto. I'm also starting to get in photography-especially nature stuff. My only other major hobbies are collecting owl figurines, and playing silly games on PSP/PS2/XBOX360-stuff like Katamari Damacy and Viva Pinata.

I've been crafting as long as I can remember. My dad bought me a kids easel when I was 2 or 3 and I guess I just kept it up from there. I've experimented with a wide assortment of arts and crafts, (and yes I believe there's a difference!) whenever I got the chance to try something new. I'm always looking for new techniques and products. I tend to collect a lot of things ie. little knickknacks and odds and ends and I always say that I'll use them later, sometimes I find purpose for them and sometimes not. I didn't really find my true love in crafting until I started scrapbooking. Once I started it was like I was addicted, I just want to do it more and more! Some of my faves: OWLS, birds in general are awesome tho. but owls are really my thing, i have around 210 owl statues, yards and yards of owl fabric, owl shirts, shoes, pants...you name it, i've probably got it with an owl-but i'm always on the lookout for something new or different. Colors-black, or a nice leafy green Paper Companies-BasicGrey, Imaginesce, Graphic45 Season-fall Tree-willow Time of Day-sunset Stamp company-hero arts (lots o' birds!)
COFFEE- OH I LOVE COFFEE! anything vanilla. nothing else. tea- republic of tea ginger peach and tazo om are particular favorites, i enjoy most darjeeling teas, and anything peachy is good.

stuff i'd like to get: ribbon, interesting brads, anything with an owl, bird stuff, steampunk stuff (watch parts, odds and ends), funky buttons, eyelets, felty things, yarn (at least 2 yards long but i do love scraps), obscure photographs, negatives, bones, metal things

stuff i don't particularly care for: disney/pooh/cartoony stuff, pink, girly-girl stuff, beads (i have about a million), dark chocolate, weird coffee flavors (blueberry at dunkin donuts is a perfect example of this...blueberry in coffee? WTF?)

I listen to Tool, NIN, Static-X, Dresden Dolls, all things Les Claypool, Hurt, 10 Years, Dave Matthews Band, A Perfect Circle, Pearl Jam, Our Lady Peace, Fear Factory, Otep, System of a Down...
