I'm hoping that this site will be fun. I used to do nervousness.org all the time, and did a lot of tea swaps with people all over the world (tea from the Netherlands is the best! pass it on) but then they shut the site down, and my LMAO project just disapeared into ether. :( I'm hoping that I can participate in a bunch of tea swaps.

About me... I live in NYC (Queens) with my husband, who is an assistant editor at Marvel Comics. Myself, I'm a second year medical student at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, which as you can imagine takes up quite a bit of my time! When I'm not studying I like to knit, and I think I've been foolish enough to promise scarves to about two dozen people now. I would very much like to learn how to crochet, but... well, it's giving me troubles.

Most of my trades here will probably involve hot drinks. I love tea and coffee and cocoa! My favorites are English Breakfast, Sakura, Jasmine, Lavender, and anything fruity, but I'll drink anything and love to try new teas! Except I don't like Earl Gray (so please, NO Earl Gray!). So, almost anything. ^_-

Favorite Stuff:

1. Harry Potter: I am a HUGE Harry Potter Fan(atic). Books, Movies, Wizard Rock, I love it all. I particularly like House Ravenclaw (book colors, not movie!) and Slytherin for cosplay.

2. Manga: bunches and bunches, both Korean and Japanese (so, Manga and Manwa, then). My favorites are Kare Kano and Death Note. If you haven't seen the Death Note movies yet, go see 'em!

3. Japanese anything: I pointed out Manga specifically, but I'm really a big fan of all things Japanese. Teas, Sakura (cherry blossom) flavored/decorated items, foods, holiday stuff, Shinto stuff, anything. If I could teleport/speak Japanese, that's were I'd be. I'm learning though! (um, the language, not teleportation. I wish!)

4. Religiousy stuff: I am myself a Wiccan, so obvy I love Wiccan based items and things to beautify my alter. In general, though, I have great interest in all religions and their forms of mysticism, such as Kabbalah.

5. Cat stuff: I love love love kitties. ^_^ I have two adorable ones of my own, and generally think that cats are the bees knees.

6. Crafting: In my spare time I knit. Granted, I don't have much spare time at the moment, and I'm really behind on all my projects, but it's good stuff. Also I like to Plastic Canvas, but I knit much more.

That's all I can think of on short notice. I will update with my various idiosyncrocies.
