My name's Claire. I'm 20, I love animals and I have two dogs whom I adore and spoil.

Psychology, philosophy and makeup are some of the things which interest me. I also enjoy reading, playing The Sims 2, listening to music and watching movies.

I love the idea of thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets, but there aren't any here unfortunately, or at least none that I know of.

Some of the items I collect are postcards (including ad/free ones), souvenirs (especially souvenir fridge magnets), Happy Bunny, and animal welfare items like stickers and such from various organisations. My new love are funky, little erasers resembling food. How cute are these?

I'm also trying to start collections of fortune telling cards as well as memorabilia of The Phantom of the Opera and The Beatles.

My favourite authors would have to be Ellen Hopkins and Sarah Dessen. I've just read Hopkins' latest book - Identical - and she never fails to amaze me.

Recently, I watched The Triplets of Belleville and Nocturna, and I enjoyed both animations very much. I'm also very intrigued by the Koyaanisqatsi / Powaqatsi / Naqoyqatsi trilogy. I've only caught a snippet of the first movie, and would love to sit through the entire trilogy.

I'm fascinated with almost any show, fictional or not, that has a psychological aspect to it, like Criminal Minds, Most Evil and Child of Our Time.

I took up sewing recently and have been enjoying it very much. It's fun learning new stitching techniques for creating different looks. Right now, the material I most frequently use is felt, and I love embellishing with buttons, beads, ribbons, yarn and other little knick knacks.
