I love to do piece work! Have not explored quilting...I send my quilts out to a longarm friend. I'm a grandma to 4 awesome kids and a mother to one awesome daughter. I love 30's fabric the most and collect traditional quilts from estate sales. I have a few sewing machines, but my favorite one is the Singer Featherweight. I love colorful quilts. Just recently, I've taken a liking to batiks with a tropical flare. Love Pin cushions! I've done a few of the blocks in The Farmers Wife, and I really like all, no one block is my favorite - they are all beautiful. Right now, my goal is to better organize my sewing room, always looking for ways to better it, sometimes looking for patterns to create organization. My favorite colors are pink, green and lavender. I love lavender flowers, my grand daughter and I go to a lavender festival each year to enjoy the fields of lavender and the lavender products. I'm fortunate not to have any allergies....that I know of!

I enjoy the 70's music the most.
