I now call Columbia Missouri home. We just moved here this summer for my husband to go back to school. I am a mom to four boys! I never thought I was a boy kind of mom, but I love every minute of it. I love baking. Cheesecake, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, yum! I love reading. Mostly young adult fantasy. I love to ski in the winter and camp in the summer. I have two pets as well. A silver tabby cat and a smelly little dachshund. I stay home with my kids - so I am constantly on the go. Either picking kid up, dropping them off, grocery shopping for them, or cleaning up after them. I love it! I joined this site mostly for postcards. I love doing postcrossing, so I thought I would try out this site. I have been collecting postcards of all the places I traveled to since I was a child. I love all kinds of scenic and tourist cards. Not really into homemade cards. I just want to see the world through post cards. I also love checking my mail box and finding something other than a bill or a credit card offer! I have also taken a recent interest in stamps. If you take the time to pick out a nice stamp, I really appreciate it.

The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale, The Scarlett Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy, Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George, and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, and the Harry Potter Series (but 3 is my most favorite of all the books)

I love Psych, Gilmore Girls, Seinfeld, Project Runway, and Dancing with the Stars. I have also started watching Once upon a time and love it! Jane by Design and Downton Abbey are new favorites too!

I enjoy sewing and quilting. I try to crochet and knit. I enjoy scrap booking when I have the time. I also enjoy drawing as well, though I haven't in many years.

Along with the book, I also love the movie, "the Scarlet Pimpernel" (the version with Jane Seymore in it). I love the 6 hour BBC" Pride and Prejudice." I like "Emma." I like" The Adjustment Bureau", "Enchanted", the first "Pirates of the Caribbean." I love "the Princess Bride." Oh I also love the newest movie of "Star Trek." I also adore the movie "The Young Victoria"

So I mentioned earlier about the cards like. Here is a little more info: I collect postcards of Places (scenery/tourist) and Map Cards. I do not care for free ad cards, random photographs, hand drawings, weird things, etc. I love getting U.S. State Map Cards. These are the states we (me and my kids) are looking for to complete our collection:

If you don't have one of these maps, but do have another, please send it. There are so many versions, and they are fun to look at.

Other cards we like: national parks, cool buildings, oceans, cities/skylines, cathedrals, temples, cut out/shaped postcards, and unique animals. If the moon is in the picture, that will defiantly get a heart! I don't mind a homemade postcard if it is a nice photograph you took. If it's something more creative I appreciate your efforts and creativity, but I just don't collect it and probably won't keep it. Thanks for picking out something I would love. I always try my best to do the same for others!

After swapping postcards for a few years I have taken an interest in the stamps that come with the cards. I picked up an album at Christmas and have now started collecting. I like any type of stamp from all over the world - other than the current US flag stamp. I am excited to collect more!
