Hello! I'm a teacher that lives in a large cultural and historical city, but I've also spent a lot of time in the country. I enjoy having the best of both worlds. I've been an avid letter writer with pen pals for more than 40 years. I enjoy exchanging long, conversational style letters with questions and dialogue and becoming real friends. A long letter to me is about 8+ pages handwritten or 4 pages typed. I also enjoy exchanging cards for the holidays and birthdays.
I like nature photography and traveling the backroads to small towns to see something new, reading and discussing books, movies, 80s music, animals (dogs, foxes, wolves, hawks, owls, llamas), pets (2 rescue dogs) history, science, culture, gardening, mysteries, ghost stories and the unexplained, abandoned places, historical places, natural health, crafting, traveling, walking in the woods, spending time in deserts and the ocean, storms, relaxation, museums, galleries, murals, cafes, iced dirty horchatas, true crime stories and much more. I enjoy staying young and active, visiting places and attending events around my city.

If you don't receive something from me in a swap, let me know, and I will be happy to re-send.
I always rate as soon as I receive a swap, so if I haven't rated you, it's because your swap has not arrived.
My main love is letter writing and friendship, and I am open to writing those that are also long letter lovers and share some of my interests. Contact me if interested.
