I was born in Florida and live there now. I've been married 37 years to Elden. We have 3 daughters - Andrea - 36, Tasha - 32, Irene - 26 and 2 granddaughters. Tasha's - Olivia age 7 yrs. Irene's - Avalon age 16 months.

I've quilted for years but am physically not able to do it now. That is why I've started the other crafts.As a quilter I've swapped for years.

I love reading,geography, nature, exploring new places, looking for interesting rocks or pieces of wood, mountain creeks, scenic views of mountains, going to art museums, going to book stores and libraries, word games and dancing. I love Jesus.

I really like the new POP-OPERA genre. Favorites Il Divo, Russell Watson and Josh Groban I also love the original rock'n roll of the 50's and 60's. I also like Country Music. Favorites Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Gary Allen, Allen Jackson and Carrie Underwood I like lots of other kinds of music too. I do not like heavy metal, hard rock, alternative and rap.

I love to read. Some of my favorite books are A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee and The Woman in White - Wilkie Collins. I like to read mysteries, historical fiction, Star Trek and biographies. I also enjoy reading poetry especially the classics.

I am an avid postcrosser. I like scrapbooking and making postcards. I do a few ATC's. I love to read.

I love nature - beautiful scenes of mountains, wildflowers in a meadow, lakes, islands, animals (except for snakes). These are just some examples. Special things I like - butterflies, large felines ( I don't like them in a zoo) in natural habitat - mosaics - handmade baskets - unique crafts of a country - Alphonso Mucha paintings - pictures of couples dancing - realistic paintings ( not weird like Picaso or Dahli.) - tea cups, saucers and teapots, orchids, bonsai. I like a city or town view when the picture is taken far and high enough to show the surrounding coutry.

I collect - postcards, bookmarks, shells, special rock specimens and maps. When I visit new places I like to collect things the people there make such as their pottery, hand blown glass, fabric arts and whatever it is that is native where I am.

Postcards, bookmarks, tablets with cute or pretty motif, notecards, little journals, souvenir hand towels, stickers and photos of nature, It would be very special to me if someone sent me a small drawing or painting they did themselves.
