I'm 26 and live with my husband and our numerous cats and little dog in a very old house in a little tiny town. We're expecting our first baby, a boy, in November.

My favorite colors are purple and blue. I prefer silver over gold.

My favorite holiday is Halloween. I adore anything with a Halloween theme. I also like Day of the Dead themed things.

My favorite scents are anything fruity like peach or strawberry or cinnamon apple.

Some of my favorite things are: easy and/or quick recipes, cats, anything beachy like flamingos or shells, pirates, old houses, mermaids, Edward Gorey, penguins, snarky humor, 1 inch scale doll houses and minis, red wine, World of Warcraft (I play Horde), unique vintage things, flavored coffee (my favorite flavors are hazelnut or cinnamon), bento boxes and accessories, Alice in Wonderland (especially the Cheshire Cat or Catepillar), re-ment, sour Jelly Bellys (I've become addicted to them since being pregnant), Blythe dolly accessories and clothing, Badtz Maru, deco tape, thunder storms...

Scrap booking and sewing are my favorite crafts! I especially like small print fabrics and unique buttons and trim. I want to try my hand at inchies soon. I also like dottees and decorated matchboxes but don't have much experience making them yet.

True Blood is about the only thing I watch on a regular basis these days. I don't really have time for TV. I'm also reading the True Blood book series.

Any of Paula Deen's cooking shows. I also have almost all her cookbooks. I just think she is too fabulous.

Wife Swap is my guilty pleasure.

I like fun, funny movies like Ghostbusters, Alice in Wonderland, Howl's Moving Castle, Legally Blonde and Secondhand Lions, just to name a few.

The color orange unless it is part of something Halloweeny.

The scent of lavender.

Monkeys. I don't know why but monkeys just bother me for some reason.

Spiders and bugs, yuck!

I read all the time. I also like a lot of different books. I'm currently reading the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris (that True Blood is based on) as well as the Dave Robicheaux series by James Lee Burke (2 very different series).

Some other series I love are Harry Potter, the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett (the ones about Sam Vimes and the Watch are my favorites), and the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

I have loved Gone with the Wind since I first read it when I was 11.

I also like home decorating and crafting magazines.
