Favorite Music

I'm quite electic when it comes to music and like pretty much everything. I'd love for you to recommend your favourites to me or to listen to your compilations.

If you have any Regina Spektor, who I'm currently loving, I'd be thrilled if you could send me some.

Favorite Books

Books are THE very best thing in life. I love them and can't get enough of them. I'll read anything except Mills & Boons.

Favorite Movies

To name a few; City of Angels, Pay It Forward; The Fifth Element; A Nightmare Before Christmas; A Wonderful Life; While You Were Sleeping; Amelie; Dark City; The Bourne Identity....just another area where I can say I like pretty much everything.

Favorite Crafts

I love matchboxes, scrapbooking and journalling - I also like glass painting and beading, but I would like to learn more about knitting, crochet and sewing.

Likes & Dislikes

I will be more impressed with swaps you have tailored to my profile than with lots of added 'extras' that I'll never use. I'm a quality not quantity kind of girl! That said, here's a few hints:

Likes - seed beads in all colours; sewing notions; cotton, floral fat quarters; knitting materials especially needles; polka dots; ribbons; pin cushions; vintage colours and patterns; mice; giraffes; interior design; papercrafts; scrapbooking embellishments; milk chocolate; zesty, citrus smells; baking; cute buttons; pretty cardstock; journalling; acrylic paints and small flat paintbrushes; chipboard shapes; alphabet stickers; rub-ons for scrapbooking; Burt's Bees products; matchbox drawers; tote bags.

Send me any of the above and I'm a happy girl!

Dislikes - Lipsticks; eyeshadows; nail polish; lavender; perfumes; white chocolate; aniseed or liquorice; pictures of cats; coffee.

That's it. I'm not TOO fussy!

I'd Really Love Some...

If you're States based, where you can get scrapbooking stuff relatively cheaply (compared to the UK) I would love scrapbook papers (blues, greens and browns) Thickers (any colour or style) or scrapbook embellishments (chipboard, stickers, brads, etc.) I'd be happy to return the favour and send UK stuff.

Swap Stuff

I purposefully spread out my swaps so that I will not get behind and so that I can really put effort into what I'm sending.

I will ALWAYS send my swaps and I will ALWAYS do my best to make sure that I send a swap I am proud of. I hope that you love them!

Comment: Great story. It captured my attention from the first. I loved the detail you included as I got a real sense of what you could hear and see around you. Have to say, too, the beading magazine was a hit! It is one I don't buy and it was fun to see the trends from elsewhere. Despite sorting out my magazine stash, this is one I intend to keep. Comment: I have a HUGE problem with your swap Clair... My daughters are following me around trying to take the great things you sent me! Luckily the t-shirt bag was perfect for putting everything in and running away from them! Seriously though, I LOVE this swap and the black and pink color combo turned out so cool! I can't believe you made the jewelry~beautiful! I will let you know how I like the chocolate after it sits in the freezer for a bit and I will listen to your CD mix next time I am in the car. The Tennyson pocketbook is awesome, I love the Paperchase things, the matchbox and bookmark turned out great, the cat purse is so cute, and I love the Liverpool things too. WOW!! Thank you thank you thank you!! :-)
Response: I can't believe it reached you so quickly (or that I'm up to find out - it's one in the morning and I'm wide awake!) Comment: Who knows what happen to the 1st package but the 2nd has arrived safely!! I love them, an outside pocket on one and a brooch on the other (am tempted to take off the brooch and wear it!!) and thank you for the necklace too.
Response: Glad that this package reached you safely and that you like the bags. They were such fun to make (both times!!) And use the brooch however you like - that's why I made it detachable :O)
