NOTE TO SWAP PARTNERS: Please don't send extras! You are wonderful to send your swap on time! I am trying hard to use up all the supplies I have.
NOTE TO POSTCARD SWAPPERS: I love any unique or unusual postcard that makes me smile. An artist I'm not familiar with will delight me "crazy." An artist from your local area will win my heart and will definitely win a heart for YOU. I will treasure well-done handmade postcards and ones of your own photography. Unless it's a swap requirement, I'm not especially fond of state and map postcards. However, I love to receive postcards about something quite unusual in the town or area where you live, especially if you live in a small town or rural area.
THEMES I LIKE: owls, moons, penguins, chairs, windows, toddlers, kewpie dolls, houses
I LOVE postcards mailed to me to be naked and weathered!!
I have been making and trading ATCs for many years. I love doing ATCs with vintage photos, and often use photos from my stash of old family photos. Since joining Swap-Bot I've started to make postcards for some of the swaps.
I also make quilts and greeting cards. I have completed about ten fat scrapbooking albums and over a dozen large quilts - some early ones by hand.
I am a preschool teacher married to a professor. My two children are grown and I have one grandchild, an adopted Korean girl who is 13 years old.
I love to read more than anything, and I'm usually torn between reading or doing Swap-Bot projects. Swap-Bot is winning!
Mixed. Classical, Classical Pop, I love Paul Potts, Sarah Brightman, Coldplay, Enya, New Age, Alessandro Safina, Mario Frangoulis
Way too many to list since I read over 100 books a year. Mostly suspense and mystery. 3 recent excellent ones that come to mind are
The Girl With the DragonTattoo by Stieg Larsson, Close to Home by Peter Robinson, and Night Kills by John Lutz.
I belong to PaperBack Swap for this addiction.
Things like Changeling, Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Awakenings, Disturbia
I don't watch much TV, but do enjoy Cold Case.
Potholders, Gelly pens, Dishtowels, Reed diffuser (any fragrance), Stick-on embellishments, brads, 100% cotton fabric, sticky notes, notecards, handmade envelopes, coasters, soaps, tea, tote bag, rubber stamp
Fav. colors: pink, lime green, aqua
Fav. fragrances: pomegranate, fig, amber
I will let you know if I am sending late, and I promise to rate you promptly. I am very lenient with late sends and mistakes - if there is communication. If you don't receive my swap in a reasonable time, let me know and I will definitely resend.
If you do not get a rating from me, PLEASE PM me!!

:) You're so welcome. I'm glad you liked my NTG WTA card!
I admit I saw on your profile you liked lime green I had hoped you would like the color combo :)
500 hearts to you! Thank you for my special package for being YOUR 500th heart. It was very nice and I enjoyed looking through all the items you sent. I am very excited about the woven tea towel, as I have not been able to find any (odd, huh??). I have been slobbering over a dish/tea towel to skirt tutorial online. THANK YOU SO MUCH! (Esp since postage can be such a killer!) CONGRATS on your 500th. It's amazing!
