I love crafting and try to do so with every free moment. I am located in the Chicago area, Illinois, Midwest, USA.
I think my favorite colors are purple and brown, but not together. However in general I tend to like colors that reflect nature. I do not like neon colors.
I am married without children and without pets.
I collect things with hearts on them and heart shaped things.
I have pierced earrings and like earrings that dangle. I do wear necklaces, but only occasionally wear bracelets. I do not wear makeup.
I DO NOT LIKE to receive swap items that have GLITTER on them.
My first language is English. Hablo espanol un poquito pero no bueno, necesito practicar mas.
I am open to doing one-to-one swaps with swappers in good standings (4.50 or higher).
YES, I do spell my first name with two y's. It's one of the things that makes me unique and it looks cool with all the other double letters in my name. Two y's in my first name, two n's in my middle name, two t's and two sets of two e's in my last name.
I am a Christian who is married to an Atheist and doesn't fit the stereotypical view of Christians. I do believe there are other ways of connecting with God and I respect others' beliefs even if that belief is that there is no God.
Paper crafts including but not limited to greeting or note cards, bookmarks, ATCs, ACEOs, tags, and scrapbooking.
Other crafts I enjoy include: Jewelry making, Candle making, Soap making, Crocheting, and painting.
I am thinking about trying to make glass beads.
I am horrible at knitting so I don't do it any more although I have tried in the past. I am ok at crocheting but don't do much of it either.
Occasionally I dabble with sewing.
Buffy (the comic book) and Fables (another comic book) are two series that I'm reading right now.
The Color Purple and the Chicken Soup for the Soul series are two of my all time favorites.
I have finished the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series) really enjoyed it.
I like movies that challenge the mind, play on the senses, or tug at the heart. If it's to silly or slap stick I probably won't like it.
While I manly listen to country on the radio; my CD collection also includes R&B, Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Classical, and Instrumental. I do not like acid rock or punk rock or anything like that.
Below are some items I need or want. So If you are trying to figure out what to get me for a swap maybe something here will fit your theme, budget, or interest.
