I am an ancient 52 year old female who lives happily at the bottom of the planet in New Zealand. I am married with one teenager and 6 cats. I only have cats because my other half won't let me have a pony in the front room, that's where he keeps his motorbike. I am a stay at home mother who is rarely at home, never been so busy in my life.
PLEASE IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A SWAP FROM ME LET ME KNOW AND I WILL SEND ANOTHER. I usually rate within 48 hours so if I haven't rated you the swap has not arrived, however I don't think you derserve a low rating just because the postal service has let you down so I just leave it.
I don't really have any favourite music, but can't stand rap or most opera. My husband is learning to play the banjo so I have been put off country music. If I hear the theme to Deliverance one more time I will not be responsible for my actions.
I prefer non fiction.
Being a coeliac I have a special interest in anyone else who has problems with gluten, (maybe a recipe exchange). I have a few hundred cookbooks of all kinds, only outnumbered by the number of craftbooks.
Anything with Bruce Willis or "The Rock". ( I used to watch his grandfather wrestle on tv)I also have a quiet appreciation for bad acting, sheer comedy. I loath musicals.
I am so hooked on craft I hardly watch tv, but will happily revisit many of the old 70's and 80's comedies. I am lost in "Lost" and enjoy 24.
I like to cook, craft, (crochet is a favourite, closely followed by sewing, Xstitch and knitting) take photos and avoid housework. I like one off swaps, enjoying seeing other people's choices. I find the most extraordinary things are made by the most ordinary people. I am easily pleased but don't like grey or beige, too dull.
Especially love crocheting baby shawls and making huge afghans. And I love to see other people's photos, I don't care if they are blurred, out of frame or taken by a 3 year old.
I am a hoarder, and proud of it. I intend to have "worldest biggest stash builder" on my tombstone. Even little things are too good to throw away. Sometimes I just like to go through my yarn, fabric and all the rest just to see and feel it. I read patterns, better than any novel.
Being in New Zealand postal services can be a bit slow. Please allow for this.
Also we have very strict quarantine laws, so please no:
These are not my rules but I don't want any of your wonderful swaps being destroyed by the Customs department.
I have allergies so can't use cosmetics, perfumes, soaps or many foods, even some tea bags have gluten in the glue. However I do like anything homemade or store bought, postcards, crafty stuff, stickers, your art, your childrens' art, you cat's art, photos, and most other things you may think of. Hey, I just like getting presents in the mail.
Quick list of what I like:
Postcards, Note paper, Cards, homemade or bought Lace, Ribbons, Fabric, Photos, Stickers, Anything to do with craft, Your art

Heard about the latest earthquakes, hope you and yours are okay. Thinking of you.
... I mean, PiE hehehe
It took me a while, but I posted an Any 5 swap in the PiN group :)
I'd rather just do one post card. Could you set it up? I'm pretty new to swap bot, and I don't now how to do private swaps.
Hi! I would love to do a postcard swap with you!
Hi Kay!
Thank you for your warm and long comment, you've given me pleasure. I think I'm still living in the 90's or earlier :) I hope we"ll meet in mail swaps too.
Best regards, Tina (ktina)
Wow! That's all I can say about your envelope chock full of NZ postcards and other ephemera. Lots of sheep and mountains :-) Thank-you so much for sending this little extra surprise, and thank-you also for hosting the "Envelope of postcards for Newbies" swap - my very first one to participate in on Swap-Bot.
I got your package yesterday, thanks. It was lovely, especially the sketch. I hope you and yours are all okay after yesterdays earthquakes.
Just thought I'd have a nosey on your profile, because you are lovely enough to send me postcards. My other half is jealous that your other half is allowed his motorbike in the house, even though you were most likely joking lol.I think he would tuck it into bed if he were able to...
