I am married to my wonderful husband Joe and we have two boys, Joshua (6 years old) and Jacob (4 years old). I've always been an arts and crafts enthusiast. My mom majored in art so I think that's where I get my creativity, I've grown up around it.

I am a serious swapper and always send my swaps out on time, if you don't receive anything from me please PM me, I have NEVER flaked on a swap.

My passion right now is ART DOLLS and altered dolls. I have made them "from scratch" and I've also altered thrift store dolls. I love this creative expression because I can combine my love of sewing, painting, beading, etc.

I love to SEW and QUILT. I just recently taught myself applique both with felt and fabric. It is so much fun because I get to design my own patterns and wall hangings (I've never been one to follow someone else's patterns). I love, love, love fabric! Any and all kinds, size doesn't matter. Send me a few scraps, they will be put to good use.

I have 2 notebooks full of my ZENTANGLES. If you know what they are then horray! If you don't just look it up right here on Swap-Bot.

I love making ATC's and try to use unusual things such at duck tape, fabric/felt, buttons, aluminum foil, foamboard. I definitely consider myself a mixed media artist so I usually combine different mediums on one ATC.

I also like to KNIT. I've knit scarves for quite a while but then became disinterested because I was bored. When the knitting bug bit me again but I DIDN'T want to do another scarf. So instead I challenged myself to knit a pair of socks and loved it; challenging but extremely rewarding.

Another passion is MAKING JEWELRY, bracelets and earrings are at the top of this list but I also make hair clips, necklaces, decorate shoes, etc.

My first and always-and-forever hobby is PHOTOGRAPHY.

l also PAINT. I started out in acrylics but tried watercolors and a few months ago I dabbled in oil paints.

• I am an organizational freak.

• Favorite colors: Rich blues and greens, hot pink, black, yellow, orange, ok really I love ALL colors.

• I love, love, love buttons

• I love mermaids and dragons and some fairies are ok. "Mixed animals" like a cat-pig or a fish-bat (I have created these 2 so far).

• I love ALL KINDS of animals. Owls, hedgehogs, peacocks, red pandas, snakes, black bears and all types of cats domestic and wild, bats.

• The only Hello Kitty character I like is Chococat

• My favorite flower is the black-eyed susan.

• I'm fascinated with the Amish lifestyle and make yearly pilgrimages to Lancaster, PA.

• Favorite season is winter. I hate summer because of the high humidity here in VA.

• I prefer the mountains over the beach (again the whole fall/winter vs. spring/summer thing)

• I LOVE coffee, hot or cold it doesn't matter..

• I like dia de los muertos stuff

• Candy - gummy candy, milk chocolate (orange/chocolate or raspberry/chocolate combos).

• I play simulation games on my iPhone (Paradise Cove and Tiny Castle).

• Anything by Beverly Lewis and Wanda Brunstetter.

• Christian fiction

• Race relations in the 60's.

LIKES:

• I love BUTTONS, all kinds of buttons. Vintage buttons, glass buttons, buttons with paintings or motifs on them, handmade fabric covered buttons (ok the last one is my very favorite!)

• Lace. I would love ANY color!!

• Animals: I am a huge animal lover but I am partial to CATS especially domestic BLACK CATS.

• FABRIC - Anything goes when it comes to fabric. I love anything! Lately I've even been using upholstery remnants for clothes for my art dolls.

• Beads - Any shape, any color, any kind (no cheap plastic though). I love sead beads for my art quilts.

• Other craft supplies I like: felt, ribbons, "trinkets", sequins, charms, broken earrings & necklaces.

• Anything with a cat on it... cats, cats, cats.

• ATC's - I LOVE these! I like making and collecting them.

DISLIKES: (I'm pretty easy to please)

• Tea... yuck!
• Stickers - no thank-you.

I rate based on what the swap is about... not how many extras you put in. I mean they are nice and everything but I'm in a group because I want to swap that item. I'm not stingy with hearts but I do like to see effort put into the item being swapped.
