Hello! The name's Shahira, but you can call me Kira. First things first, I love anime! I'm a big fan of anime and Asian culture, and all that good stuff. I wanna move to Japan someday. I also love superheroes, and I'm a big DIY fan.

I love all kinds of music, pretty much anything except Country. I'm a big fan of J-Pop, J-Rock, K-Pop, and Techno. I love Asian music! Arashi, Big Bang, Super Junior, Miyavi, Versailles, An Cafe, 2NE1, News, DBSK...I could go on forever.

When it comes to reading, I mostly read manga. Some favorites are Mars, Beast Master, Full Moon, The Gentlemen's Alliance, etc. Arina Tanemura is one of my favorite mangakas; I love her art style. That and Japanese fashion magazines, like Fruits, Kera, and the Lolita Bible.

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, superhero movies, anything with Johnny Depp, and Disney/Pixar movies. Which means Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Spiderman, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Chocolat, The Ninth Gate, Monsters, Inc., and Lilo & Stitch (I LOVE Stitch!). I love a good laugh, and anything with Jim Carrey, Seth Rogen, or Paul Rudd is sure to do the trick, like Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, Step Brothers, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Role Models. I'm fascinated with the classic horror movies too: Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, etc. as well as some newer ones, like Donnie Darko, and Saw.

I don't watch much TV, but when I do it's something like Scrubs, The Office, The Simpsons, Family Guy, or Boomerang - Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, Top Cat - good ol' cartoons. Something that's not exactly TV, but I guess it could be considered as it, that I LOVE watching are Asian dramas, especially the Japanese and Korean ones. I'm completely hooked. Some of my favorites are Kimi Wa Petto, Hana Kimi, Akihabara@Deep, Maid in Akihabara, Densha Otoko, Hana Yori Dango, and Mei-chan no Shitsuji.

Alas, the anime section! This calls for a rant. Wow, where to start. I love so many. Some favorites are Skip Beat, School Rumble, The Wallflower, Maburaho, Paradise Kiss, Chobits, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Hellsing, Vampire Knight, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and SO many more.

• Kawaii! Anything kawaii, as it's hard to find here, and it makes me happy. :D

• Anime! Same as above. ^^

• Stud earrings! I don't wear dangly earrings, but I love studs with cute characters, like Gloomy Bear, Jack Skellington, or Gir. I have 3 piercings on each ear, so its fun to put in new studs every once in a while. Like, for example, my current earrings are these pink circle studs with "love" written on them in Japanese.

• Bento! I wanna get into the whole bento thing, but I can't find one down here. A kawaii bento would be great.

• Phone Charms & Straps! I love collecting these, and it's reached the point where I have to crane my neck to use my phone because of how heavy it is with all the phone charms I have - but I love it! They tend to fall off alot, which sucks, so I'm always looking for new ones. Kawaii- & anime-related charms & straps are my favorites.

• Plushies! I'd really like a kawaii plushie. I can't seem to find one anywhere.

• Pandas! My favorite animal! Anything panda-related is win.
