UPDATE 03-11-2018: I've bought a new house (yay) and will be busy getting my old house sold and decorating/renovating my new house. That's why I won't participate in many swaps. I'll only pick out the ones I really have time for.
Hi my name is Layla and I'm 39 years old. I live in a small town called Cadzand in the most southwest part of the Netherlands (only 5 minutes from the Belgium border). My husband & I live near the beach where we love to make long walks with our dog Nena.
SENDING & RECEIVING: If you didn't receive my swap, please message me before you rate me. I will resend.
I'll always sent before the deadline. If you receive my swap, please give me a rating, I will do the same as soon as I receive yours :) And please write the name of the swap on the postcard or envelope.
Thank you! :-)
I don't listen to the radio that often, but I love Florence & the Machine. I think Florence Welch has the most beautiful voice that I've ever heard. I also like Rag'n'Bone Man, Kensington & the Prodigy. Generally I just like music that makes me happy like Can't stop the feeling by Justin Timberlake. So just music that's making you wanna get up and dance around your room :-)
Dean Koontz and Stephen King have been my favourite authors since I was about 12 years old. Karin Slaughter, Mo Hayder, M.J. Arlidge, Jussi Adler-Olsen are some of my other favourites. I love thrillers & horros. I don't like "docter" romance novels.
My favourite movies are: Alice in Wonderland, the Wizard of OZ, Labyrinth, Harry Potter, Twilight, Divergent, the Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, Labyrinth, Willow, The Dark Crystal, Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children. There are too many to write down here, but everything with a lot of fantasy :-)
There's not a day that goes by without at least me watching 1 tv-show. (Fear) The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones (my absolute favourite), Grey's Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries, & The Originals, American Horror Story, This is Us, Homeland (I adore Claire Danes), the 100 and many more.
I would love to know which show you watch and why :)
I enjoy playing videogames on PC and PS4, for example World of Warcraft, Dragon Age Inquisition, Far Cry series, Fallout series, Tomb raider, Resident Evil, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls (Online) and the Final Fantasy Games.
I started out as a Postcrosser (I enjoy myself with stamping and decorating the postcards with washi)
Other hobbies: crochet, creating things from felt, jigsaw puzzles, making long walks with my dog and meeting with my friends & family.
I love all tea (especially green tea and flavour variations) but with the exception of chai teas.
Chocolate is my quilty pleasure (milk with hazelnuts being my favourite) and I eat it almost every day.
I'm interested in local sweets & cookies.
I'm a vegatarian, so I would appreciate it if you wouldn't send my anything that contains meat, about the meat industry or the hunting for animals.
I will be grateful for anything you send me like: * anything eatable or drinkable (like tea/coffee/chocolate/sweets/cookies etc.) * clear/rubber stamps or inks * stationery & cardmaking items/tools * (letter) paper * stickers * embellishments * (old) maps * pieces of felt * differents shapes of paperclips * handmade jewellery/items * postage stamps, I collect them since I inhereted a bunch from my grandpa. * anything about Egypt or egyptian history * postcards (see below for reference)
I would love to receive postcards (naked, stamped and written on, not in an envelope) that display: * your town/area * a map of your city/state/country * (farm)animals (I adore cows, pigs, foxes, dogs, cats and guinea-pigs) * nature (forest/mountains/northern light/4 seasons) * greetings from... cards * Mila Marquis cards * Lali cards * Jetoy cards * Santoro cards *Jehanne Weyman cards * Incognito cards * cards about Egypt/Egyptian history * MAXI-cards * movies/tv-series or videogames themed * fantasy themed cards * cards with bright, vivid colours * cards for my birthday (in August), winter, autumn, summer or spring scenes or seasonal cards (for example Easter, Halloween and Christmas/New Year)
