Hi all!! I am a 42YO mom to a DS6 and DD3. I have been married to a wonderfully funny man for 13 years, who can still make me laugh!! Life can be so stressful, so I try to remember to laugh at something everyday!

I've lived in California all my life, for the most part in the Los Angeles area (where I am now), but lived in the San Francisco and San Jose areas for about 14 years, where I also attended college and graduate school. I love learning and would love to be a professional student. I guess that's why I like crafting so much - there is always something new to learn.

I also enjoy baking for my family and our parties. Mostly cakes (love experimenting with decorator tips) and cupcakes. Cupcakes (baked and otherwise) are a new fancy of mine. Anything with a cupcake on it is sure to earn a heart from me.

I don't get to read much, except for magazines, but love all things Jane Austen, big fan of Harry Potter, and grew up reading Tolkein and Steven King. I also love mysteries.

I love to garden even though I don't have too much time for it.

I love coffee (Starbucks, yum) and chocolate (any kind). My dream is to open a coffee shop with an adjoining crafty/cottagy boutique.

I also enjoying making bento box lunches for me and my children. I'm always looking for fun little forks and spoons to use with our bentos.

I love all 80's New Wave, 80's Disco, Latin Jazz and Salsa music, but enjoy lots of other genres as well.

I really enjoy a good romantic comeday like Pride and Prejudice (BBC version is the best), The Wedding Date, Bride & Prejudice, Ever After, and most comedies. Some of my faves are Legally Blonde and Groundhog Day.

I enjoy reality shows like Top Chef and Hell's Kitchen, Survivor and Amazing Race, as well as dramas such as Ghost Whisperer, NUMB3RS, Cold Case and Lost. I also watch DIY, HGTV and FoodNetwork.

I love Scrapbooking & paper crafts (I've been making paper bag albums, tags inchies and altered matchboxes), cardmaking, stamping, interior decorating, baking, beading (love all crystal jewelry), I can also crochet, and I took a sewing class and I really enjoyed it. I've made a few tote bags and even a simple outfit for my baby girl, and now sew on many of my paper projects.

I love all kinds of scrapbooking embellishments, especially decorative brads, printed ribbon, chipboard embellishments (plain are the best), 3-d stickers, paper flowers, ink, and glitter. Please, no eyelets (I have way too many).

My favorite colors are peach and olive, but love to work with pink, brown, & aqua for vintage-looking layouts. And for non-vintage layouts I prefer bighter colors (orange, turquoise, red, yellow, bright pink, lime, colors that make you want to smile).

I've started to collect vintage buttons and ephemera. Any old paper is sure to make me a happy girl!!

I LOVE using glitter - the very fine kind - it adds so much to anything I'm working on. I also love anything with glitter or polka dots (paper, ribbon, buttons, fabric, stickers, etc.). I also like scalloped edges, flower-shaped items, butterflies, birds, plain chipboard elements, boardgames, candles (vanilla, pineapple, apple, mango, coconut, raspberry, melon, pretty much any fruit scent), fun mechanical pencils, fun pens, spiral notepads, anything train-related(for my son), plastic beaded jewelry (for my daughter), spearmint gum, and anything coffee-flavored.

Most recent obsessions: itty bitty books, cupcakes, inchies, and Marie Antoinette.
