I am married, 12 years now and have two boys and my baby girl, a rottie. I started scrapping one and a half years ago and now have a scrap room of my very own. Who knew I would get so addicted, o.k, better yet, who didn't know? LOL! I think I have so much to learn and really haven't found my own style yet, one thing I do know, is that I love making albums and I adore the vintage look. Anything vintagey(is that even a word?) is beautiful and stunning to me yet I have been way to scared to try it. I thought that I should tell you all, I am a smoker! I know, yucky, right? I wish I could quit but I am unable(due to heart issues) to use stop-smoking aids and quitting cold turkey, well that just terrifies me. The biggest problem is that I live with a man who has no intention of quitting which in turn makes it twice as hard for me. If you don't want to swap with me then I completely understand.
I love everything, from rap(Eminem only) to 50's and 60's to now. I adore weird things, like some of Marilyn Manson's remakes to Celine Dion to Colbie Caillat to Ingrid Michaelson. I have a large range and taste in music, but there are only some country I like, overall, that would be my least favorite music.
OmGoodness! I love horror and thanks to my hubby, a lot of fantasy. I used to read harlequin and sometimes still do but mostly J.D Robb(Nora Roberts), Dean Koontz and Stephen King. I like the ones I can't read at night because they are to scary but sadly that is the only time I do read. I also adore Piers Anthony(Xanth series only) and David Farland.
"Fried Green Tomatoes and Pretty Woman" I have no idea why these are so very important to me, but I have watched both so many times and they hold dear and special places in my heart. I can't relate to Julia Robert's lifestyle in P W, but I can definitely relate to the idea of Prince Charming sweeping off you your feet and granting all your wishes and dreams. As for F G T, I think what I love more than anything is the time era, the cruel differences, hardships and yet how they put the now and then together. I love these two the most, always will, but again, I have taste ranging from the B&W movies of the 40's and 50's to the drama's now. I used to adore action, but with three men in my house, I am all Action-ed out!!! LOL!
Easy, almost everything. Which leaves very little time to do anything. I love Hockey, our team only! LOL! I love Dexter, omg! I love him! I love Doctor Who and Coronation Street(Been watching for 19 years) I love all the CSI's, NCIS, Amazing Race and Survivor. Well, it just goes on from there. The only thing I refuse to watch now is Canadian Idol, I am so so very tired of the teeny-boppers having all the say and voting for the talentless but cute singers instead of the really talented. No matter how much I voted it made no difference. Done with that now and won't watch that anymore.
I love albums, chipboard and handmade. I have made a file folder album, and two tin albums as well as lots of chipboard albums. I can't wait to try acrylic ones. I just finished my very first ATC swap too. That was fun! I do layouts and cards too. Anything scrappy and handmade is my fave, I used to teach a craft class for my church many years ago and before that when I was 12 I had my own newspaper, not a route either, an actual newspaper, it was something my younger brother and I did for fun. With comics and ads from the local neighborhood. We would interview people we thought had interesting careers, like a fireman, at least at that age it was an exciting career. We even had a business deal with the local bank for use of the copy machine. I was such a go-getter then. I think I have always had the taste for being creative, but it doesn't mean I am any good at it. LOL!
I have a 5 year old Rottweiler/Shepherd named Sarah. I call her my baby girl, and she is despite the fact she hasn't come to the full comprehension that she is not human and really is a dog she is my fave companion by far so far and is the best guard dog ever. I have two sons, my oldest is 19 and my youngest is 18. I have been with my hubby for 14 years and even though my boys are not biologically his, they be far the only father ever worth having. Not many men would step up to fill those shoes willingly and he has done me proud. Not a very happy marriage all the time but I could never picture leaving him for the sadness of being without him is so much more. One of my favorite quotes is. "Don't marry the person you think you can live with; marry only the individual you think you can't live without"~James C. Dobson. I love my family, they make me proud, they have strong work ethics and they talk to me, really talk to me. I only wish that I had more friends, they seem to be in short supply now a days, real sincere and caring friends, go for coffee, have a laugh and enjoy scrapbooking as much as I do friends, a girl can dream though!
I love pics of Rotties(especially mine) I love Strawberries and Cream frappuccinos from Starbucks(totally addicted) I love making albums, any size or shape. I love rubber and acrylic stamps. I may not be great at using them yet but I love collecting them. I love reading, love it very, very much! I love my friends, I have very, very little of them but whom I do have I love truly. I love scrapbook magazines. Who knew I loved so many things so much!
I don't like primary colors, had two boys, they grew up and don't need to go back there again. That's how I feel when I see bright reds and blues and yellows. I don't like people who gossip. I don't like summer! Hate it really! I do not like eggs, anything caramel or butterscotch and I really don't like Slurpees/slushees. I always get brain freeze, always. I don't do cute, I don't like it. I am a smoker, don't like doing it but I am one nonetheless. I don't like listing my dislikes...lol
I love earthy colors. My favorite is maroon, magenta or deep wine colors. I love browns and deep blues. I guess you could say I like rich, regal colors. A taste of anything that I don't currently live like, lol! I love vintage, any and all vintage. 50's, 60's or 20's and well...you get the picture. Anything old to match how I feel. I love buttons, ribbon and brads. The more unique the more I like. I also love patterned papers. I love my sons but find it impossibly hard to scrap about them because they sell nothing that suits who they are! They are into Anime and gaming as well as cos-play and a lot of people have no idea what I am talking about so that either makes them the odd ones out or me odd for knowing what they are into and actually proud of them for it. I need any Anime embellishments or ideas for some.

Don't let people who don't leave comments or appreciate your effort bring you down! I'm sure your ATC was beautiful :)
