SPECIAL NOTE

I am afraid I am going to have to step away from swap-bot for awhile. Some things have started to really bother me and before I start hyperventilating or pulling my hair out or worse, saying something rude which would bother me to no end...I choose just to chill for awhile. First Things First-I will always rate! If you don't receive a swap from me, please PM me first before rating. I will be happy to resend. Also, if there is ever a question about my send date, I always keep the customer copy of the customs slips, round dated by the post office and can provide a copy of it to my partner should the need arise. The same with confirmations slips. Communicate with me before rating if you have not received a swap. I keep all swaps I send in my send folder until they are received, coming and going, and I check on anything I have sent that hasn't been rated by communicating to my partner.

Merry Meet everyone. My name is Rose and I love meeting new people. I have two grown daughters who live in Oregon and the only ones home with me are my two kiddies (kitties) Mesha and Pandora who are Snowshoe Siamese's. I love reading, kayaking, and all things in nature. I love listening to music, especially Newage and Folk Rock. I do dream analysis for myself and sometimes my sister, (ladeiraven here on Swap-Bot). She does it for me when I get stuck and don't have a clue.

I would love to have an Australian Pen Pal (Snailmail style), and also a skype pal if anyone is interested.

About my one rate, I was ill for quite some time and not on swap bot,(it was quite sudden thing), but I am alright now. Hoping to get back into the fun of it again. I have tried to make this right several times, but without any luck. I have contacted my partner on facebook, but she just keeps sending me game requests as an answer. Lots of Light-Rose

I am an environmentally conscious person and I belief in recycling. I am a non-violent person and always strive to resolve issues peacefully. My Goddess is Freya

I am a naturalist and environmentalist and believe in protecting our planet. I have volunteered in a number of organizations replanting trees, cleaning up waterways and trails behind people who could care less about where their trash goes. I believe in recycling. If you don't know anything about Freecycle, please check it out. This grassroots movement helps keep trash out of the landfills, saving our environment while helping others in need. You know what they say, one person's trash is another person's treasure.

My sister @ladeiraven on Swap-bot is my best friend. We don't live in the same state, but we do talk to each other every day.

** I don't believe in saying something mean to someone because I am mad at the moment or just because I can. Once the words are out they can't be taken back, and the effect has ripples that can last a life time. I will always try to find something kind to say, but even I have my limits.**

I am currently reading the Argeneau Vampire Series by Lynsay Sands. It is a great series One of my favorite author is really Nora Roberts, especially when she writes about Pagan/Wiccan things.

My newest interest in reading is Stephanie Rowe (The Order of the Blade series-it's my sword fetish), and Elizabeth Naughton-The Eternal Guardian Series- again with the swords.

My all time favorite story was Alice in Wonderland, Alice through the looking glass. I have a collection of King Arthur books, including Gallahad, Merlin, Uther Pendragon, Lancelot, etc. King Arthur is my hero-(I have a thing about swords). All my books are on Kindle so I have access to them at all times.

I loved the books The Discovery of Witches annd The Soul of Night. I can't wait for part three.

Did I Mention I LOVE SWORDS

Indiana Jones Movies, and the new Indiana Jones guy, Jack Hunter,(what a hunk!,) I loved Mama Mia!, but I really like to watch movies that have a lot of historical information in them. My other two all time favorite movies are, "Practical Magic" and "Mists of Avalon". I also loved Avatar-it was spectacular. I loved the movie Thor. I love Norse Mythology. There is going to be a sequel to it.

Wow, favorite television, a tough one, but my favorite is "So you think you can dance." Then Vampire Diaries and NCIS. I almost forgot, I loved the show "Charmed". I am hooked on Vampire Diaries and True Blood, what a zany show. I also like Criminal Minds, even if it does give me nightmares.

Two new favorites are Pan AM and Big Bang Theory, it is goofy, but funny. I also love the show Castle.

I have recently discovered Elaine Silver, a very powerful voice which is very relaxing to listen to. I also recently discovered an Australian group called Spiral Dance. I am Irish/Italian and really connect with my Irish roots, so Enya is another favorite. On a more common side, I love Oldies but Goodies which I have very little of. I also heard a song by Ingrid Michaelson I like.

I love Meditational Spa/Yoga type music.

I LOVE OPERA- Recently I heard a trio of Itallian young men (about 16 or 17) called IL Volo. They were absolutely magnificent, and their singing reminded me of my Mom singing opera around the house. Give them a listen, you will love them.

I love making the ATC's, but I like the journals more. Problem with doing the journal swaps that it is a big gamble as to whether you get one back or not. In 2009 I did three journal swaps and only ended up with one of the journals. A lot of work goes into them and they are time consuming. It is probably the worst swap to get flaked on. I am fascinated with old journals. I also recently have gotten into card making and am just in the experimental stages, but I am really enjoying it so far.

I love the tags people make. It is an art form all of its own.

There are more than just these two who have flaked on me, but the rest just isn't that important to me to matter.

I really love the Tea Is Love group. Some of my favorite teas are (I like loose teas best):

Chamomile, oolong, Cinnamon Orange Spice, green teas, and white teas, chai and any herbal teas. Not fond of Earl Grey, but if you send it, I will drink it. I like tsines (fruit or herbal infusions). No chocolate.

If I had a wish it would be for more time to read. So many books and not enough time to read them all. @#/Sighhhh@#

I would love to have an Ayers Rock from Australia.

Troll dolls. I always love them in grade school. If you have one you don't need or want I will trade something for it with you.

Gnomes I love them and like making up stories about the ATC Gnomes I paint.

Bookmarks!!!! I would love to have a book mark from all the countries in the world. I have a pretty good start with my collection.

Dolphins- They are also special to me and I have always loved them. They also must be one of my totem animals.

Seahorses- I am very intrigued by them. They may be one of my totem animals also.

Owls Specifically Snowy Owls, they are beautiful

Hummingbirds Fascinating

I hate snakes, rats, mice (or anything rat or mouse looking) and I am not fond of birds (as pets), but find them intriguing to watch (hummingbirds are my favorite).
