February 7 2012 - I will not be participating in any more swaps until May. I am getting married on April 21st and I just do not have the time or money that I would like to have to put into my swaps. I do hope everyone understands. All my current swaps will be sent out & marked sent, then I will be taking a hiatus from Swap-Bot until after the wedding. Thank you all for the wonderful swaps!

I'm a 24 year old mommy to a 2 year old little boy named Jacob. My boyfriend and I live in an apartment in Birmingham, Alabama USA. His name is Eric and he's a pharmacy school student.

For all swaps I host, I try to remember to check the participants list to make sure everyone has marked "sent" by the send-by date and contact the ones who haven't sent their items. I also try to contact their partners to offer to angel the swap (if I can angel the swap). If I am hosting a swap you are in and you do not receive from your partner, please PM me! I want all participants to leave my swaps happy & fulfilled.

I always rate for swaps once they are received. My mail runs late, usually not until after 5pm, so sometimes I may rate the day after I receive something. Also, I don't check my mail every Saturday, so sometimes you may be rated on Sunday for packages that come on Saturday.

If you send a swap in a way so that it has to be signed for, I can only pick it up on Saturdays so I won't be able to rate you until it's picked up. I live in an apartment and our mailman doesn't bring packages up to our doors. If it requires a signature, he just puts a note in my box telling me to go to the post office.

I mark my items "sent" when they leave my hands. I normally drop flat items in my outgoing mailbox so they should go out the following day. Bigger packages, I take to the post office so they will usually go out the day I mark them sent. I never mark "sent" unless I've physically 'sent' the item.

♣ As for clothing... 2T is perfect unless you're getting footed PJs, then he'll need a 4T. He has big feet!! He's a size 9 toddler shoe already (a 10 would probably work fine too or will soon). Hats need to be for a 4 or 5 year old (he has a BIG head - 95th percentile)

♣ He loves Buddy Fruits and similar things (brand doesn't matter).

♣ He also likes snacks such as Chex Mix, Cheerios, Cheetos (puffy or crunchy), snack cracker sandwiches (no peanut butter due to his allergy to peanuts), etc.

♣ Cartoon DVDs made for kids his age are wonderful. Used is perfectly fine.

I've found that Swap-Bot has made me more crafty/artsy than I ever thought I would be!

☺ Sewing - by hand. I like making felties and I am hoping to try to make a Dotee Doll soon!

☺ Crocheting. I find this quite relaxing! I have successfully made a few pot holders, some bracelets, and some bookmarks. I've also made a couple of amigurumi mice. I am currently working on a very large blanket for my boyfriend! I hope to learn to do more amigurumi soon!

☺ ATCs - I love these. I like to use watercolor paints, draw with pencil or pen, color with markers, crayons, or colored pencils... and I also enjoy doing them by making collages. Just whatever I am in the mood to make that day.

☺ Friendship Bracelets - I make friendship bracelets with embroidery floss. I haven't made the more intricate patterns in many years, but I am trying to re-learn these. Right now, mine are basic, but hopefully they are appreciated.

☺ Postcards - I have made a few postcards by hand, usually using watercolor paints or by drawing & coloring.
