I am currently battling breast cancer. I'm still working on swaps and loving every minute of them because they keep my mind off everything else.

I've been knitting for two years and especially love making felted purses. I also love making dishcloths since they are quick and fun.

Beyond knitting, I love reading, writing, visiting lighthouses, watching movies and listening to music.

I have recently returned to my love of Stephen King. I am in a group right now and we are reading his book, The Talisman. I'm also reading his novel, Lisey's Story.

Besides those, I'm working my way through the Harry Potter series. I have recently received the full grouping of HP books in a lovely chest, so I can take my time going through them and watching the movies when I finish each book.

I love movies. Period. I enjoy old black and white movies and I love new movies. Some of my favorite actors include Johnny Depp, Gwenneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock and Kianu Reeves.

I love movies so much I could watch AT LEAST one movie every day.

CSI is my favorite show of all time. I have most of the seasons on DVD now. Besides that, the two other shows that I have come to love, because they make me laugh so much, are How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory.

I just got into The X-Files, too. I'm watching every season from Netflix. Cool show!

The soaps I watch are Y&R and GH. 'nuff said there.

Knitting is my most favorite right now. I also have a basement filled with rubber stamps and supplies, although I have not rubber stamped in a little while. I'm hoping to rectify that very soon now.

I'm trying to learn how to make simple jewelry at the moment. `And I want to learn how to knit with beads. I love beads, but I've never properly learned how to do much of anything with them.

I am truly a child of the world. I love all the colors of the rainbow and seem to gravitate to different colors at different time of the year.

My most favorite colors are shades of green and I really love those mixed with some pinks and white or cream. Those were our wedding colors. Those work for me all year long.

In the winter, I like blues and deep pinks and reds.

In spring, I love purples and yellows also mixed with greens like the new flowers coming up after a long winter.

In summer, I enjoy watermelon colors and sherbet colors and bright colors.

And in autumn I love the earth colors - browns and oranges and reds and golds and rust mixed with black and dark greys.

If I didn't mention it, it's not because I don't like it. I really do love color all around me all the time!

Bar none, favorite goodie or yummie is dark chocolate. It warms me and makes me feel good at the core of my being. :) I also have a thing for boxes. All kinds of boxes in all sizes and shapes and colors and materials. I love pierced, dangly earrings (I have very long hair, so those are the ones that show up best). I love coffee and I love hot cocoa. I love anything hand made. I love anything with beads. I love those handmade, beaded dolls and amulets. I love beaded jewelry that's hand made.

And Little Miss Ruby Kitty loves toys that jingle or crackle. She wanted me to add that here. :)
