New info (11th of November). The H1N1 virus is very big in Denmark right now and the postal service is having problems because of so many post officers calling in sick - thererfore if you are waiting for something from me, please be patient I am sure they are working as fast as they can :-)
Since I am moving at the end of this year I will not be joining any more major swaps - private or public this year.
I am crazy about new things I can use for decorating my place, from teatowels to cups and pictureframes, your original paintings, etc.
I was born in 1987 here in Denmark. Right now I am a student at the university where I study something called Humanistic Informatic. It is a communications education and I love it. In my sparetime I do a lot of charity and volounteer work. I also run a webcommunity pretty similar to swap-bot actually, only it's in Danish :-)
I have a boyfriend, Henrik, we've been together for 3 years - and a chihuahua.
I am not that much into Techno - Trance and Dance those sorts of things. But I like to listen to them when I workout (run etc.).
I am not that much into heavy metal and country but I find them fun to listen to when I party.
Therefore I am not that hard to please with music, I've played the piano since I was six (don't really play anymore though) and also been singing since I was six. I love music.
I am really into reading. Bookcrossing.com is one of the best websites in the world. I think fantasy and sci-fi is superb. The best books I've read aren't international books but I can tell you that the next book on my reading list is "The frog prince".
Dogville, 10th Kingdom, Knocked up and The Simpsons Movie. Those are hard to compare but I love all of them. Dogville 'cause it's very philosophical. 10th Kingdom 'cause of the 8 hours of wonderful fairytales, Knocked up 'cause it's fun and romantic and The Simpsons Movie since I'm a Simpsons fan.
The Simpsons and Friends. I don't watch that much television but I am into a lot of these sitcoms.. also Two and a half men etc.
I used to do a lot of papercrafts (have been swapping and been a penpal since I was 8 years old) - over ten years now. But I stopped that about a year ago. The postage is very high and I got really sick of never getting anything in return when I tried swapping with people. I started knitting in 2009 and have already sent out my first box of knitted pets for charity here in Denmark. I can't say there is some kind of crafts I like better than others since it changes like the seasons :-)
Frog stuff. My mother and I have a thing about frogs.. Hard to explain and I don't really remember how it started. - Actually I don't collect it I just give the stuff to her ;)
Stuff for chihuahuas, I have a wonderful chihuahuas called Nova, she is 3 years old.
Pink stuff. My playstation, my computer and a lot of other important thing in my life are pink (not my boyfriend though - he is more like coffee-with-cream-coloured)
I am also into dolls. Mostly handmade. About a year ago I bought a Pullip. I would love to recieve clothes for her and also handmade or unique dolls.
I want to start a collection of flying pigs. I don't want something too childish but I just love the idea of the saying "when pigs fly" - I want to prove to people when they enter my home that in my home pigs actually DO fly. :-)
I like stuff that can be (or have been) recycled.
Cute stuff that isn't really that cute (for example when you combine white lace with black leather) and unique handmade things.
I like what some people call dust collectors which are really just stuff standing on a shelf - figurines etc. :-)
I am also into things that are a little weird such as "ugly dolls" etc.
Art books and journals.
Stationary sets or notecards.
Art postcards.
Stripes and dots, and as mentioned in "I collect" i like pink stuff and things with frogs.
Strawberrystuff (not that smell but the look) and things that smell like lavendar :-)
I like trying new things.
In food i like: Dark chocolate, Ritter Sport chocolate, soft homemade chocolate chip cookies, salted licorice (not the English kind) Chai tea, regular teas, coffee, nuts.
Knitted clothes (Except afghans etc.) Souvenirs - stuff with a "I've been to Somewhere" or "I Love LA" print on it..
