Updated: I joined Swapbot a while back and my first swap was not the experience I was expecting.I guess I felt a little let down or I had higher hopes than I should have. Either the case,I did not return. Recently,I decided to come back and try it again,I did not want to let one experience stop me from trying and having better ones. I am still a newbie,so please take a chance on me,thanks!

I am a mommy to 2 girls.One is 11 and the other is 17. I have been happily married for 15 years now. I use to work for a crafts store,Michaels Arts and crafts,for several years until my hours increased and it affected my children. So,I quit and went to college I am now a preschool teacher. I have been doing this for about 2 years so far.

I love love love all holidays and decorating for each one.My favorite among them all is Halloween.I go all out for that one.

My Hobbies

I sew dolls and stuffed animals.I've been doing this for about 10 years now and I just love it. I started doing polymer clay figures about 12 years ago.I dont do them as much as I use to.I think I got a little burnt out of them after awhile.

At the same time I got into that,I started taking classes on beading and jewelry making.This is probably one of my very favorite crafts to do. Altho,I don't get much time to do them lately.

About 6-8 months ago,I started learning to do embroidery.This has been a fun thing for me.It's so easily kepted in a small box I can carry anywhere and not likely to spill out in a car or in bed like my beads will.

What I collect!

I love anything from the 1920's,1930's,1940's, and the 1950's. I am a huge fan of pinups and anything rockabilly. As you can tell I love all things Vintage.Old photos,old postcards,old jewelry etc etc. I love to watch old old movies like Singing in the rain or Casablanca. My favorite actor is Gene Kelly. I collect anything about Betty Page. I have been collecting things about her for a long time.When I started,she wasn't popular as she is now and now you are more likely to find more stuff on her.yay!

I love anything with dice on it.Preferably red or black dice but any color is good.

What I'd like to learn

Since it has become so popular,I have been wanting to learn to make ATCs.

I have also wanted to learn to make collage books/journals and collage on canvass.

I love paper and making things with paper but I dont know how to do much with it beside card making and I'm not that interested in that.

What I don't like. Anything floral smelling. It makes me very ill,my yucky allergies.

Food sent by mail.Call me funny, but I am just not comfortable eatting any food sent to me through the postal service.
