♥ Special Announcement ♥

We are expecting another little miracle in April 2009 ♥ The morning sickness (actually all day nausea) is finally easing - woohoo!!

♥ I am a 35yr old Christian woman, deeply in love with my African husband and three children. My family and my faith are the foundations of my life - the reason for my being. Without them I am nothing.

▲ I believe in looking for the good in every situation. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in forgiveness. I believe that the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. I also believe that a closed mouth gathers no foot - words can do more harm to the heart and mind than we realize. There is an art to thinking before we speak.

♠ We have a 3yr old maltese terrier cross - I love our fur baby ♥

♣ I love travelling and taking photos of the places we visit. I try to be artistic with my photography & take unusual pictures.

☼ I love thunder storms. I love the way the air smells after the rain - love the way everything looks more alive with deeper colours.

♥ I collect anything made from paper - it just fascinates me! Postcards - esp. vintage ones, vintage books, bookmarks, origami, note cards, ATC's,scrapbook papers, stickers, note books/pads, composition books, calendars, wrapping paper, writing paper, envelopes - the list is endless!

▲ I like to feel & smell feminine. I love lip balms, soap, moisturisers, body lotions, perfumes, jewellery - anything that's pretty and feminine. I have very long curly hair and love to dress up my locks with pretty accessories.

♠ I love scented candles, perfumed soaps, incense, linen and lace embroided doilies. Collecting unusual pillow cases & tea towels is another hobby of mine.

♣ I love fat quarters, beads, charms, brads, deco-tape, buttons, patterned papers, ribbons, decorative envelopes, rub-ons, paper punches, sayings, textured card stock, mulberry papers.

☼ I love anything with an Asian theme. I also love chickens, cows, gorillas, birds, nature, rainbows, angels, flowers, shells - anything with a beach/river theme. Mobile phone pouches/socks, mobile phone dangles/charms, coin purses, tote bags, softies, hand made jewellery, key rings, vintage ephemera, vintage postcards. I love anything with a Christmas theme - love-love-love Christmas!! My absolute favourite time of the year. All things pretty, funky, old fashioned, vintage, cute, odd, country or primitive. Absolutely love & adore anything with a Christian/Religious flavour.

♥ I love all colours - blues, yellows, pinks, purples, browns, greens, reds. My favourite colour combination is pink & green... (",)

→ Stuff I don't like:

• Anything with an adult rating, such as nudity and the like.

• Crude lyrics, or anything else that portrays woman and/or men as sexual objects.

• Anything that implies hate or racism.

• Anything that insults the worth/value of human life.

• Sickly, overly sweet scents - eg. vanilla, coconut, frangipani, jasmine - they seem to set off my allergies.

• Not a huge fan of the retro look.

• Witches, wizards, dragons, vampires - yuk to all! just my personal opinion, no offence meant to anyone

• Gothic, Emo.

I don't watch TV - I believe that spending time with family and actually interracting with them is far more important than allowing our minds to become filled with some of the 'questionable' influences that are found on TV. I do catch up with the news via the internet (",)

• Paper crafts - I love making cards, bookmarks, etc.

• Scrapbooking, ATC's, photography, pixels and anything else that takes my fancy, which at the moment seems to be altered art (",) am loving what people find to do with matchboxes!

• I'm currently trying my hand at altering composition book covers, note books and matchboxes.

• I would love to learn how to sew! (",)
