About Me

I am married, and mother of 2 grown daughters and 6 beautiful granddaughters. I work full time as a Utility/Tax clerk in NW Missouri. I enjoy spending time with my family. And I have been teaching my 8 year old granddaughter how to quilt. I also help the 3, 4 and 5 year old make dotee dolls. Just the right size of thing to learn about sewing, and keeps their interest.

Favorite Music

I like country music and oldies.

Favorite Television

My favorite shows are Greys Anatomy, Private Practice. Otherwise I don't watch much TV.

Favorite Crafts

I have been quilting since 2000. Most of my spare time is spent in my sewing room. Making quilts for family members is high on my list. I have making dolls for about a year now and having been in several doll swaps with some of my quilting friends. Making fabric yoyo's have also become a favorite. I also like making aprons and pincushions.

likes

I collect angels, santas and snowman, all kinds of pincushions and buttons. I love reproduction fabric, any fabric with the colors of pink and chocolate in them, really there isn't a color i don't like. Love to work in my flower garden. Favorite flowers are violas and snapdragons. I also collect small fairies for my fairy garden.

dislikes

Since I have asthma-- scented candles are a big No No., along with anything vanillia scented. Not into anything western.
