Hello- I'm Jill and I enjoy swapping with really outstanding swappers who put a lot of time, creativity, and love into their swaps.

I am lucky to do what I love and work from home.

I have two Etsy shops: www.PartyFetti.Etsy.com and www.PinwheelPretties.Etsy.com where I design and make custom party favors, banners, pinwheels, and other party decorations.

I live in Kansas City - a wonderfully rich cultured city full of music and the arts. I am also a bit of a social butterfly and organize a large local group in KC called Kansas City Culture (KCC) with over 200 members. We are an active group that attends concerts, live bands, happy hours, art events, movies, and other social outings.

I have had a long love of Altered Arts, card making, ATC's, Round Robin Journaling, and Mixed Media and other crafts.

I love anything related to the fine arts (painting and sculpture) and the history of the arts.

Anything related to Paris, France, old cathedrals, and architecture throughout the ages in general.

I'd say my style is vintage, shabby chic and sometimes moxie hip! After stating that, oddly, my home is all modern and I love all the famous modern well-known designers, like Charles Eames.

Well, that's my story and I'm stick'n to it!

Indie Rock is my favorite music.

I also like some pop: Black Eyed Peas, Michael Jackson, Madonna and 80's new wave music.

Don't care for Country, Rap, or Hip Hop

I am an avoid book collector and enjoy books about all areas of art, architecture, and interior design.

I enjoy crafting and altered arts books and magazines like Simply Handmade. Detective novels about art and non-fiction about art heists and forgeries.

I do love crossword puzzle books too!

The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Nine. Can you tell I really enjoy musicals. Amelie is a favorite too.

Moulin Rouge is probably my very favorite!

I love, love ALL Tim Burton and Cohen Brother's movies. Fargo and The Big Lebowski are two greats. And Raising Arizona is a classic.

I also enjoy a good scare and like horror and sci-fi movies.

The Walking Dead, United States of Tara, Its Always Sunny in Phili, Weeds, Rescue Me, Breaking Bad, Big Love,SNL, National Geo Network, History Channel, Justified, and Showtime's Shameless.

My favorite crafts to make and receive are Artist Trading Cards, handmade and hand stamped greeting cards, anything Altered Arts, bookmarks, and just a handmade surprise of any kind.

I'm not a scrapbooker, but I use some of the same supplies for my projects-except stickers. Not a fan of stickers.

I am more of a paper artisan and have been experimenting more with artistic paper cutting designs.

I like swaps where items are hand made and exchanged. Not a big fan of STICKER SLAPPING or stickers in general. I love owls, birds, butterflies, Washi Tape, anything with chevrons and polka dots or stripes, paper items such as cards or even just stamped images that I can color, and 3-D items such as handmade or altered boxes. DIY instructions for crafty projects are great too! I enjoying sharing my creative imagination and seeing what others design.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME FOOD ITEMS THAT ARE NOT PRE-PACKAGED/WRAPPED BY A PROFESSIONAL FOOD COMPANY. I am sorry to yell - and please don't think I'm some kind of foodie or snob. Its not like that at all, just a bit finicky about food and really prefer it is pre-packaged by a well known candy or food company. I just really hate to say this - but if you send me a food item that you baked, cooked, touched and put in a baggy-I will not eat it and it will most likely be thrown away. So sorry, but its really not sanitary, nor is it safe and I'd hate for you to go to all that trouble.

THESE PACKAGED FOODS I DO LIKE: I love chocolate covered nuts! Especially almonds and pistachios. I'm a nut for nuts! I prefer dark choc, but milk choc is good for the soul too! As for sweets-sour and tart are good. I like crunchy, not creamy. I'm not a fan of creme filled centers in anything. I am allergic to cinnamon, spearmint, mint, and peppermint. I like Hot Cocoa and decaf tea-in exotic flavors.

NO STICKERS OR SCRAPBOOK PAPER PLEASE!! Sorry to yell again-but I feel I have to because I keep getting this stuff in my swaps.
I once owned an online scrapbooking store and I have a zillion stickers. Seriously, I am up to my eyeballs in stickers. If it is a sticker swap that I am participating in, it is usually so I can pass on more than I receive.

PLEASE SEND NEWLY PURCHASED ITEMS FOR ALL SWAPS THAT REQUEST A GIFT OR CLOTHING TYPE OF SWAP. I once received a clothing item in a swap that smelled like gasoline and mildew. Clearly it was NOT purchased new or recently.

I LOVE the mini clear STAMPS by Studio G, We R Memory Keepers, and Imaginisce or the small clear one's at Michael's Arts & Crafts store in their $1 bins. All these usually run around $1 to $3 and I LOVE little stamps! Used stamps are fine by me too! Don't be embarrassed to send me used clear or rubber stamps-I will use them!
