I'm Keira, single female living with the 'rents in Nebraska by way of California. I LOVE my new home here in the Midwest. When I'm not working (my new job is at a cell phone carrier's call center; I love it there!) I enjoy quilting, crafting, cooking, and lounging with my cats. My baby is an orange male tabby who finds pleasure in even the smallest chunk of sunshine. His sister is a black and white longhair who enjoys the scent of menthol. My household is 100% non-smoking and we try to keep the cat hair to an absolute minimum.
Colors dark teal, just about any color of purple, warm orange, blue, medium pink
Animals owls, cats, brightly colored birds, koi fish, penguins, zebras, giraffes, hippos, unicorns, dragons
Candy just about anything gummy, candy bars made with milk chocolate (my favorite chocolate bars have caramel, toffee, nuts, nougat, peanut butter, coconut, MARSHMALLOW, or other "mix-ins"/fillings), caramels
Gum Stride; I only chew mint gum, no citrus or cinnamon
Magazines I don't subscribe to but like Martha Stewart Living
Magazines I do subscribe to Real Simple, Cooking Light, Oprah, Food Network Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Entertainment Weekly, Ready Made, Time, The Economist
Books fantasy, sci-fi, new-fiction, classics
Interesting buttons plastic or glass, vintage or modern, solid-colored or more decorative
Fabric, 100% cotton ONLY, especially Moda, modern stripes or dots or prints (especially prints of scissors and other ironic things like cloth-care labels), animals (especially owls) and vintage reproductions please note that I typically cannot use fabric from Wal-Mart or other discount stores; the greige goods the fabrics are printed on are of a lower quality making them near impossible to use in quilting
Shotglasses (I collect them, but I prefer the shorties to the double shots...see my collection)
Makeup ORLY or OPI nail polish, mascara (especially if it's a new kind!), single-color pots of eyeshadow
Quilting I'm currently learning and would appreciate tools of the trade
Stamping (I have lots of colors of ink pads but stamps are welcome, just not from the $1 Michael's bin, I've probably raided those already!)
Motifs The moon, the stars and the sea, Dia de Los Muertos, rainbow colors, "green"/ecofriendly
Other favorite things Rubbermaid Premier, Rubbermaid Produce Saver, Sharpies, interesting Post Its
Subject to change with time
100% cotton 50wt. thread in any color, must be cotton only, not cotton over polyester
Shotglasses from wherever
Fabric 100% cotton, preferably from quilting shops
Martha Stewart Craft Line any embellishments, stickers, glitter, paper punches, etc.
Fun stuff for my cubicle, like a zen rock garden or Office Space relics
Anything from my "favorites" list
JUNK I cannot stress this enough. I only send what I would love to receive myself, packaged the way I would want to receive it, and I hope my swap partners will do the same.
Knick-knacks
"thank you" cards
Teacher/reward stickers
Food/candy past the "best by" date, I won't eat it
Makeup that's not sealed or is old
Stamp pads, unless it's metallic (I have A LOT of colors already)
Heart-shaped things
Christian religious items
Old things (and I don't mean pure vintage) that have clearly been hiding out in your closet for the past who knows how many years.
Anything "kawaii"
Lemon flavored things, and most citrus flavors in general, except peach
Cinnamon flavored things, especially cinnamon gum (it makes my teeth sensitive for some reason)
Dark chocolate
Most scented things, like stuff from Bath and Body Works. I'm highly "scent-sitive".
Anything scary (like horror movies or ghost stories)
Non-nickel-free jewelry; I'm allergic to nickel, it makes my skin itch and flare (again, highly sensitive, bah)
This is a listing of swaps that I have sent out and I'm not sure if they've been received yet as I have not been rated yet. These may be old or recent.

Keira, Thank you so much for being my Angel for the Goodie Box Swap. It was my 1st flaker, and I was so disappointed. But your package arrived today and all disappointment was gone. I love everything, but mostly love that there are great people here like you that are willing to Angel and get nothing in return but my heartfelt thanks. You are a Big Sweetie in my book. Hugs, Debbie
You didn't have to send me a postcard! Thankyou, you honestly made my day! <3
