Hi :) I'm Rachel, I live in Ainsdale, up the coast from Liverpool.
PLEASE READ. I'm going to stop swapping soon, so I'm going to host a few swaps before I leave. If you've written to me and I've not written back, please let me know! My memory's terrible and I'm hoping to catch up in the next week or so. The same goes for if you've not received any other swap from me.
I like pretty much all music really, but I think my favourites include AC/DC, Rammstein, Glenn Miller, Ugly Kid Joe and Florence and the Machine.
My all time favourite is The Hobbit which I read in primary school, so of course I also like Tolkiens other books. Harry Potter is great too, I also read those in primary school and the books are so much better than the films. A couple of other favourites include No Time for Goodbye - Linwood Barclay, The Jungle Books - Rudyard Kipling, Howls Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones, and The Day of the Triffids - John Wyndham.
It goes without saying that The Lord of the Rings films are my favourites, including the cartoons which are great. Always loved Star Wars, Underworld and the Matrix. Kids films like Horton Hears a Who, Surfs Up, Happy Feet (I like penguins). Comedies like Zoolander, Land of the Lost, and Stranger than Fiction. I don't really like scary films, I couldn't sleep for a week after seeing the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Saying that I don't find Pans Labyrinth scary, and I love that too. Not a film, but Dead Set was absolutely fantastic, anyone who likes zombies and hasn't seen it should definitely give it a shot.
It's a tough one, I don't have a number one favourite. Supernatural, Red Dwarf, Spartacus, Black Adder, QI, South Park are just a few
I love my xbox, so if anyone wants to add me my gamertag is the same as my username, I always love having new people to play games with. I enjoy cooking and baking. I like making fudge, gingerbread and coconut cakes and soups in particular too. I'd love for people to send any interesting recipes, I love trying to make new stuff. I'm not religious, although I do I do like hearing other peoples religious views and learning about other religions and cultures, I just don't like people being pushy about it. And I like Peter Rabbit :) Although rabbits actually creep me out a little bit. I like to make and sell earrings out of famous brand bottle tops on ebay :) I like lemons, daffodils, incense, perfume, myths and fantasy stuff, lip balm, unusual bottle tops, funny postcards, handmade bracelets, earrings, buttons to sew on to my black shoes, pokemon, lego, books, pressed flowers.. :D Someone sent me De La Rosa Peanut Confection, it's not available here so it is ridiculously priced online, so I'd love to receive this if you have any :)
So I'd love to have more pen pals! I only have a few from a few different places but would like to hear about other countries too. I'd like to hear from other people in the UK, Germany, Australia and Poland please. If you're interested please message me, I'd love to hear from you.

Couldn't find it in the end, but I did get some stamps for £1 in the art/ craft shop in wayfarers arcade (the one with the red rum statue) lots of walking about and had tea &scone in the tea rose cafe. I swear that cafes are the new phone shop there!
