Most of what I listen to is jazz, classical and then Indian (Eastern) music. My father was a jazz/latin musician and to see why I love Indian music look at my favorite movies.

I am a happily married 50 year old mother of 1 teenage daughter...need I say more. Love to travel and learn about different cultures, music, food, etc. Addictive reader - if I get into a book it's "carry-out" for dinner and I'm reading it until I finish! Love the ocean and the smell of saltwater. Favorite color combinations turquoise/lime green, saffron/mustard, purple/red/olive. There aren't any bad colors - just bad color combinations. Love to cook and enjoy entertaining. Having people over for Mexican food and margaritas is my idea of fun! (I'm 3rd generation Mexican)

Love foreign films mostly British. Over the last six years I have gotten hooked on Bollywood movies.

I love to knit (have since I was 12). I also teach bead classes in my home and at local stores. Have tried many different things: embroidery, pottery, pmc (precious metal clay), wire, fused glass, etc. Love making items for "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) such as sugar skulls, dolls, jewelry.

Don't watch much television unless it involves food, travel, or crafts. Love Ace of Cakes!

Likes: Anything Indian (South Asian), chocolate, beads, yarn (natural fibers), Mexican items, handmade soap, foreign stamps, fabric (any color/kind), love faces of any kind (painted, sculpted, etc.), dolls, skulls, sequins, buttons, flamenco dancing/music, travelling, different religions, handmade books/journals, odd things (the stranger the better!).

Dislikes: coffee, scented items (except soap), necklaces (bracelets are fine).
