After looking for work since I arrived in maryland in late june, I finally have work! I start my job on sunday. I am going to be working at the Disney store in my local amll. I will only be seasonal but this is HUGE for me. SO EXCITED. That bieng said, I will probably be up for more private swaps once i have this extra cash in :)

Now..On to my profile.

Disclaimer 1) It is somewhat long. I believe that the more information I can include on my profile, the better you can get to know me through it. The sorts of items I may or may not like and just myself in general. So I try to add to it whenever I get the time.

Disclaimer 2) It is picture heavy, and if it is too overwhelming to you, then I am sorry. But I like to show people what I mean with pictures as well as words. It is a huge struggle for me to get people to understand what I mean, so I use all the help I can get. My brain has all of the answers unfortunelty my mouth has none of them.

My name is Alyson, But I go by Aly Bee. The bee is an extension of the first letter of my last name, Which starts with B. It is probably my favorite nick name up to date in my life, and I plan on keeping it even if I ever get married. It has just become who I am.

I am 22 years old now!! 22 seems like such an inbetween year to me, It doesnt feel very significant. I feel the same way right now as I did when I turned 20. Like I've just lost an important year to one that seems somewhat useless and I can never gain it back. I have heard that 23 feels like a big year for women though, so we shall see in a year!

I just recently moved across country with my boyfriend in a life long journey to find myself. I am looking for Bffs even more now that I am in a new state. Even though I miss my old friends and family, I feel more mentally healthy here than I have in an uncountable amount of years. There are so many things I can be okay with now, and So many others I simply don't have to think about, and It has been such a great relief. Curious as to what I mean? Ask me, I will gladly tell you.

At heart I am a Rude girl punk rocker who thinks she can take on anyone. I am not conceited or narcissistic. I simply salvage my own dignity and self image by throwing myself into situations and pretend I am Way hardxcore. I also rid myself of public shame by dancing my little heart out in the middle of large groups of strangers. Meet me at a show and you may never believe how little I actually value myself. Have a depiction of what I mean. The following two pictures are my inside mental image, of who I am at heart and who I want to be outside.

Me on my awesome old orange couch with my equally cool bright pink hair. Jealous aren't you? Don't be, My hair is brown now.( Oh, and not to mention the awesome face I am making. Can't help that, it just happens. )

Along with the Tattoo on my chest (Which is the word "friendship" in Latin, I also have one more. It is on My back, Off to the side. I love it, but often forget it is there. (as I can't see it unless I am twisting my spine looking at myself) I shall show it to you.

My puppy: about two years ago I found my canine soul mate. He is a mutt of a terrior. Before I adopted him into my life I had never wonder if There was a doggy Aly running around, but I know that there is, and His name is splinter. We have the same laziness and attitude problems. We don't like to sleep alone, and get angry when punished or caged up for too long. He is still living in arizona, and for a number of reasons can not be with me in Maryland, But he has a good home and a loving 8 year old to look after him.

Favorite Books and Authors

Reading is one of the many things I do a whole lot of. It stimulates my brain, and I thrive on that. If you have any recommendations for me, in any genre, they are always very welcome.

My favorite author is Anne Rice, and has been for a while. One of my favorite books by her is Pandora.

What I enjoy most is fantasy. When I read I like to be taken away from this world and into another, So that I can escape. Insert, Piers Anthony and his Xanth novels, Anne Rice as said above, Steven king, Dean koontz, and others.

I read a lot, I believe its good for the mind as well as the soul. Not to mention I need something to do while I smoke.

Right now the shows that I watch the most (as far as regular American tv..) are

Roald Dahl

As time goes on My crafting likes and dislikes changes and grows. I love to scrapbook, Make collages, Cards and decorate and write letters. I Am trying my hand into decopauging. I like to draw a little bit, Just generally color and decorate anything I can write on.

The thing I buy and recieve more often than anything else is stickers. But I love to recieve lots of things as my likes have grown even since i have been here, so look below for that list :)

I love to read through magazines and then cut out words, phrases, pictures and backgrounds from the pages. I keep them all in ziplock bags and use them occiasionaly. The words more than anything else, honestly.

I have also gotten pretty big on paper and cardstock. I love colors and I do a lot of cutting out of things so pretty much any paper will be used down to nothing once in my possesion.

My newest hobby is working on journals. I love writing on fresh paper, as well as working magic with stickers and cardstock, markers and stories, and everything else in my collection. If you are ever in the need to regift anything, I can always use some randomness. If you are still rapt for ideas after everything in my profile. Send me anything with pictures or words on it and I will find a use for it in this way. Or, If PM me to set up a private swap. I like those.

I originaly used this space to try and keep myself on track, to have a secure place to have a record of all tags ingoing and out going. I have since become more organized on paper. As well as, I have cut down on the majority of my "tagging" Although I do still enjoy some of the games. Once I have all the ones that I OWE out (and yes, I know that some of these are quite old..) I will most likely clear out this space.

Just a few extra things I feel like you should know about me.

*I do smoke, I don't do it around my crafts or packages but I feel like my partners should be aware of this. Please let me now if it ever causes a problem.

• I drink a lot of coffee but I dont generally have a taste for tea.

• I love most kinds of chocolate, except for dark and anything beyond regular dark. It tastes too bitter for me :)

• I love granola bars.

• I love red licorice but hate the black kind.

• I have no allergies

I won't get angry if you send these things, I just feel like they would have a better home than mine, no fear though, if they end up in a package i will send them to someone who could use them :)
