I'm a mom of two boys, live in Texas with my husband on 20 acres of land with our six horses, one very spoilt goat, two huskies, two australian shepherds, one dachshund & one teacup chihuahua. We also have three birds, a lizard, several cats--indoors and outdoors, and one rabbit!

I like most music, with the exception of opera and hard rap (repeat rap as I call it..same verse over and over and over....). Country is my main squeeze, but I like the newer oldies stations (the ones that play the eighties, nineties & early 2000's)..but mix it with all genre's too!

I love romance novels, but read most anything. My most favorite author is JD Robb aka Nora Roberts, but I like Jude Devereaux and Catherine Coulter as well as a few others!

My all time favorite movie is "The Fifth Element" but I like most comedy/romances.

I love the newer reality shows. CSI, Law & Order, COPS, Dog the Bounty Hunter as well as quite a few others! And, I'm a sap for the Family Channels as well as Lifetime!

I like to sew, cross stitch, make my own gifts, and make my own decorations. I also have just gotten into ATC's and Dotee Dolls, so they have been added to the list.

I love to swap stuff but am on limited income right now. I'm a full time college student with my husband's income supporting the four of us, plus our animals/ranch. I am working, driving a school bus and substitute teaching, but that paycheck is gone before it even gets here. I wanted to include my likes & dislikes on here so that there was no mistaking anything.

DISLIKES: No torn, bent or dirty items. Nor the tiny ones. No "trashy" items. I don't mind the teacher/reward stickers, but please don't sent them to me bent or torn, etc.

:::UPDATE::: I had a pal email and tell me she was hesitant to send something because she had made it out of used materials..This is NOT what I mean by used, bent, torn, dirty, etc. I mean no stickers/stationary being used/bent, torn, etc. If you are making a swap out of used materials, more power to ya..it show's creativity, so go for it!

I will always rate my partners. Please do not fear that. If I get something and am not able to rate right away I leave it sitting on my desk (unopened) so that when I open it, I can rate.

Currently I have three swaps that I have hosted. At least eight people have signed up for each one (except one.) Every person has told me in a private email that they were giving me a star. At this time I only have two stars. :(

Please don't forget to rate. Not only your partners, but your coordinators, too. And, if you are going to rate your coordinator a star after telling them so, please do so. It's really not a nice feeling.
