Hi! I'm 26, from South Dakota, and live in WA now with my siblings and our cats. I love writing and getting letters and am always interested in new pen pals.

My craft/art area is growing. And I bet you know the feeling that comes next--I have so many different things I want to do and not enough room! I know, right? Well, I finally got a table to do my art on, but now I want to sew up my clothes that have fallen apart... where do I put my machine? Ah well. I keep everything nicely organized at least.

I enjoy reading a lot of young adult books, as I work with kids. Some of my favorites are The Secret Series [The Name of This Book is Secret], The Mysterious Benedict Society, and the Kari and Lucas Mysteries. I liked The Book Thief and Revolution.

As for adult books, I enjoy the occasional woman-in-her-20s/30s-doesn't-know-what's-happening-in-life-meets-man-of dreams [a witty romantic comedy minus all the sex], The Help, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? [my favorite], and The Devil in the White City.

When I craft I mostly do paper things [out of maps, magazines, and old/foreign books mostly]. I love cutting and gluing. I could cut and glue paper to make collages, envelopes, cards, bookmarks, or just decorate anything all day.

I also make earrings, sewing projects [but please, no fabric--I have too much!], and fascinators.

I listen to Indie, Alternative, Electronic, Dubstep, Swing House, and Classical music.

My favorite artists include Haim, Bassnectar, Radiohead, Santogold, Discovery, Matt & Kim, Cranberries, Marina and the Diamonds, Metric, Fiona Apple, Skrillex, Rufus Wainwright, and Shastakovich.

I would love for someone to make me some address labels! We could set up a swap. Message me if you're interested.

It seems picky to have to include a list like this, but you should save things for people who actually want them and won't just throw/give them away. I've gotten pretty much all of these items so I felt it important to specify for future partners.

Things I do not enjoy:

• paisley, flowers [unless it's cool flower designs]
• items with cartoons [Hello Kitty, Disney, Pooh, bears, misc wildlife, etc.]
• useless kitschy items [figurines]
• napkins [PLEASE stop sending me napkins! I don't know why this is a thing. It grosses me out, and I don't want two or ten pretty napkins. Though if you would like them, I have a variety to give away!]
