I am Mom to 3 young adults, Jesse 22, Jeremy 21 and Kaity 17. My SO is Gary, who does not share my interest in art, but puts up with it since he knows it is therapeutic for me, and makes me happy. I also am mama to 6 pets, a tuxedo cat name Oreo, a huge black lab mix named Spike, and 4 lovable doxies named Pica, Pinto, Patches and Benjamin. I am recently disabled due to bipolar disorder and ADD, so swapping is a great out let me, it gives me something to do these long days alone at home. I have not done much art in the past year or so, I used to love making ATCs, but muse has escaped me, so I haven't been able to make them. I have found a new interest in postcards now, so I have been doing a lot of swaps with them. I am going to try making some handmade, but for right now, I'll stick with store bought or recycled... (I have become a postcard-a-holic!)
I guess you could call me eclectic.. I like easy listening, comtemporary, música latina, classical, Broadway showtunes, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's. I can't name particular artists especially of today's music, I just know the melodies!
Frida, West Side Story (can you tell by my email addy?), Phantom of the Opera, Chorus Line, The Kite Runner, Elizabeth, August Rush, plus so many others I can't list them all here. I will add more to my growing list, as I see new movies. That happens quite a bit, as Gary and Kaity and I go to the cinema pretty much every Sunday.
I also like the cop/detective shows, health shows, documentaries, and watching movies on HBO. Sometimes I just have the tv on to have some background noise! I am not into sitcoms or comedy, since the majority of the the time I find them (comedy and some sitcoms) vulgar and racist.
Right now my art/craft muse is gone, but I have seriously gotten into postcards! I swap them here, I am active on sendsomething.net, and postcrassing.

I like to read YA fiction, I have been reading my daughter's books lately, I am currently reading the Twilight series. I am not feeling real excited about them though, but I want to finish the series. I read The Host, by the same auther and loved it! I like futuristic, and historical fiction, except for anything set in the Victorian times.

Of course I like a used book for a RAK!! I probably like used books even more than new ones. :o) It looks like a great one, too! Can't wait till I finish my current book so I can start it, and what a lovely cross stitch bookmark too! Thank you , thank you, thank you!!!
Hey Susi, thank you so much for the very cute Dachshund postcard. I always love it when someone sends a Random Act of Kindness Card! Much appreciated and a great addition to my collection. Mary
Thanks for the "invisible" postcard... not what I had expected, but still really cool. I like all the different colored butterflies, and of course the panda!
Today, I got the real RAK package (what a surprise!!!), thank you so much! And the timing is great - my birthday is this Friday. The Dwight Yoakam CD is one of my favorites, and it's going to be heard a lot! Many hearts & hugs to you!
